MMD Spokesperson Dora Siliya on Sunday sneaked out of the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church in Petauke where she had gone to attend the 26th anniversary celebrations of the Church after seeing that MMD President Nevers Mumba had been invited to attend the celebrations.
Ms. Siliya quietly walked out of Church while the service was in progress shortly after Dr Mumba entered the church building.
Ms. Siliya is one of the five NEC members who have taken the MMD leader to court for contempt after their efforts stop a NEC meeting with a court injunction failed as it was allegedly served when the meeting had already started.
Dr. Mumba later donated K1, 500 on behalf of the party towards the completion of the unfinished church building.
And Dr Mumba said time has come for the country to create space for women in the country’s politics.
Dr Mumba who clocked two years as MMD President on Sunday said Zambia needs to create room for women to participate in national affairs.
He observed that women are agents of change adding that keeping them in shadows of politics is not Zambia anywhere.
He said the country can only be saved if women actively participated in the country’s politics as women have the ability to change things.
Dr. Mumba who attended a women’s special Sunday at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Petauke said God will use a woman to bring about change that the country desires.
And commenting on his two years as MMD President, Dr. Mumba said the road has not been easy but that God will see him through as nothing is impossible with Him.
That is how it starts. In the end supporters, supporters’ children will be walking out on each other without knowing why except for this vague feeling of acrimony. We need to mature out of such behaviors.

Will they walk out of Dr Mumba’s inauguration as well when he is elected President of Zambia? If they stay in MMD new MMD should not give them any jobs even if they come kneeling. They can be forgiven but they should be given a long time to reform.

Walking out of church is no solution and Dora is not MMD for some of you to claim Mumba is not wanted in MMD. It is a pity these people cannot differ only on politics or policies but with all their lives. Dora must separate politics from the church and other aspects of life. Dora chisusu is very childish to say the least! It is shameful to see such behavior for people who aspire to lead the country.

Mulikita, i am one of the people who used to watch Nevers every Sunday on the Zambia shall be Saved program. He had a bigger following compared to what we see of him now, with regular court appearances. Moreover the work he used to do was more important than politics. In my view it is more important to serve God than mankind. I hope this doesn’t spiral into a huge argument!
Not really Suntwe.I’ve been a keen follower of Dr Mumba’s Ministry for the past 30 yrs.At one time he explained that the Statement of: Zambia Shall Be Saved,does not mean,spiritual salvation only,but any evil thing that affects human life.Zambia Shall Be Saved from: Corruption,Immorality,Bitterness,Tribalism,hared,Disunity,Vergence,poverty etc.In this case you need more than human intellect or academic qualifications to save people from these vices.God has to get involved in this worthwhile crusade.ZAMBIA SHALL BE SAVED.With God,nothing is impossible.

It is ironic that we doubt the battles that Dr. Nevers Mumba is going through. Dora may be popular but her morals leave a lot to be desired, Dr Chituwo has even broken someone’s marriage (Nurse) who had two children with her matrimonial husband. But things went sour when she realized he(Dr. Chituwo) was married but it was too late. As for Dr Kaingu with a PhD from unaccredited University you should only look at his children’s(Iris) behaviour to give you the kind of home they came from. All in all it is a spiritual battle of morals. If these guys had any good intention they should have tested their popularity within the party.

What is NEC’s action on the five they have wanted MMD to collapse and if they are expelled they are accusing the New MMD of not wanting old Members.
As much as every member(old or new) is needed,but we should not over look those who do not mean well to the MMD Party.Infact some of these politicians may only be needed for a vote,they belong to the past politics as far as providing Leadership to the party is concerned.
