FORMER Eastern Province Chairperson Lameck Mangani has dismissed reports that he wants to join UPND.
Mr Mangani said in Chipata yesterday that he had no such intention because he had not been expelled from the ruling party.
He explained that when he moved from MMD to join PF he made it public and that he would do the same if he decided to move.
He advised people speculating his next political move to leave him alone stating that he decided to keep a low profile.
Mr Mangani was early this month dropped by President Michael Sata as provincial chairperson.
The president however appointed Atanny Mwamba as provincial chairperson.
Mr Mangani also rebuffed an invitation from UNIP asking him to rejoin the former ruling party.
So Lameck thinks his only vocation is party-hopping?? Do something else man.
UPND must be very careful with people like Mangani. Don’t bring into the party characters tainted with treacherous behaviour. Mangani is not a factor any more. May be Lucas Phiri, not Mangani
