Defender Kabaso Chongo is back for Zambia for the teams forthcoming two 2015 Africa Cup qualifiers despite his unsatisfactory performance away to Niger in mid-October.
Kabaso is one of three TP Mazembe players Zambia coach Honour Janza has summoned for Zambia’s final two Group F qualifying matches against Mozambique away on November 15 and Cape Verde at home on November 19.
The defender struggled against Niger on October 11 in a match Zambia drew 0-0 in Niamey.
Kabaso was later missing from the 18 players picked for the return leg on October 15 that saw Nkana defender Donashano Malama picked instead in a match Zambia won 3-0 in Ndola.
Meanwhile, Mazembe’s website confirmed that Given Singuluma and Rainford Kalaba are the other two of its players called up for qualifying action.
