Committee Chairperson Justice Annel Silungwe

The Constitutional Technical Committee says it has not incorporated gay rights in the draft constitution.

Chairperson Annel Silungwe says it is up to Zambians to make submissions on whether or not to include gay rights in the constitution.

Justice Silungwe was speaking in Lusaka on Saturday during discussion on the first draft constitution. He also stated that the draft constitution has not provided for the establishment of Human Rights Courts.

Justice Silungwe has stated that issues pertaining to human rights shall be handled by the Constitutional Courts

Meanwhile, Justice Silungwe has noted that despite having a status of running mate the Vice President will be amenable to be removed by the party’s disciplinary committee if he violates the constitution.

Hon Silungwe, please don’t be subdued by critics for this gay issue is not only inhuman but ungodly as well. We are a christian nation and should therefore live by the teachings of the bible. By the way, anyone ever seen male or female lions, cows, dogs, chickens humping their same sex? This is not a god ordained undertaking. People out of lust have opted to defy the teachings of the almighty just for self satisfaction. I would rather differ with a fellow human being than the creator and giver of life. You are right on former chief justice on this one.

All sins are Ungodly and none is greater or smaller all sins are equal.
Lets not try to criticise one another. One’s strength is another’s weakness.Let’s help those who are in this situation than telling lies. And remember Zambia is not a “Christian Nation” it was named by the late President Chiluba.Do you know Why? He did that so that he can be spared once he stops ruling after the damages he did when he was running as the president and it happened. Open your eyes and you will see that it’s not a Christian nation.

Rise n Shine, unless you sleep with a fellow man and and a non believer in God, this would be rubbish to you. Walimonako bamukolwe bekabeka bale ngasha insele iwe? This act is inhuman for God created a man and a woman for a purpose. Keep rubbishing him. Alalopola and there’s no recourse if you willfuly and intentionally break his biblical laws.

What is the point of gay rights? Why is your justice answering a question no one is asking you?

Since you have interests, you should not be leading this tech committee.

If (and that is a big if) our constitution incorporates in gay rights, it must be made unequivocal that gays will not be entitled to human rights, because they are not human, that’s why they want their own set of rights… simple…

Don’t bash Silungwe guys muletontokanya! He did not just start talking about this from nowhere, he was being asked questions by the damn journalists on specific provisions of the draft! There are some rogues with reverse hormones who keep bringing the issue up on various fora, like on the constitutional website, facebook, twitter, phones, radio and stuff! LT may not report but these ****** try to bore our stock.

So, to reiterate our stance as Zambians, WE HAVE SAID NO, TO GAYS AND THEIR WRONGS! We don’t want Ban Ki Moon kingdom in Zambia. This is Zambia, the real Africa. We must never copy wrong things. Any of those males with female hormones are ABNORMAL and must be treated as such. We can just feed them to crocodiles at Kalimba farms and in L/stone when we identify them.

Even if you choose other styles like Pen+Mout or Pen+An, the two participants must carry on their bodies the basic items of being male or female. They can choose to rest their treasures and reverse the conception formula if they want. But they must pass first as male and female couple.

don’t we all have the same rights? name them if you like but we all enjoy the same human rights, but why do “gay people” always want extra rights. democracy is simply the rule of the majority by the majority and for the majority, in Zambia the majority don’t want these so called gay rights therefore there is no need to bring them into the constitution that is suppose to reflect the will of the majority of Zambians. homosexuality is a sin and therefore it should be practiced in hiding just like any other sin, if its a right then why can’t one  have a right to marry his daughter if she is of mature age, they have the right to be together, they are consenting adults, even marry your mom if u like. there something very wrong with so called gay rights. no gay rights in Zambia!

Gay rights in Zambia and world wide. Sadly not in public please. I dont judge gay people its a dissability, so I respect their weirdness, they have been born like that they cant help being who they are. You can not help falling for whom you fancy. you like same sex or you like opposite sex thats fine. some like it hot, some like it cold, some like young some like old, some like black some like orange…………….. its alright.
