    • The African Nations Championship (sometimes referred to as to as African Championship of Nations or CHAN) is a football tournament which was first announced on 11 September 2007. It is administered by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and is played between the best national teams of Africa, exclusively featuring players who are active in the national championships and qualified to play in the ongoing season. Expatriate players, regardless of where they play, even in Africa, may not qualify to take part in the African Championship of Nations. Not to be confused with Africa Cup of Nations.

  3. Eeh. In other words ka Africa Cup tornament for local players. Excluding those we have exported like bena Mayuka, Katongo, Mweene, Sunzu etc. Only for those at Power, Nkana, Warriors etc.

  4. What don’t you understand and i quote:
“CHAN is a CAF competition exclusively for home-based national team players”.

  5. @ Mwimpota Mukabwela & Peter, whats wrong gents are you retards? where the heck have you been if you dont even know what CHAN is. You need special school imwe, brains are way too slow. this article is just fine.

  6. Football will pay your bills, this is a sport for drug dealers (e.g. that player who played for Argentina and got banned for drugs) hooligans, less educated, the minority and the less privileged like Brazil

Economically well doing, educated smart people do not talk. Resort to football it is not a sport it’s a pastime e.g. USA, CHINA, India. They careless less of non-event sports that is why they are not, will never be funded compared like any other world class sporting events e.g. Olympics and Paralympics

    Get a job people

    Thanks

  7. @ Mushota is it just you or can we partly blame your parents for your extreme low level of intellect? Were you born with intellectuall defiency, inherited from a dumb ass parent or was the low level capacity thinking entrenched into you by a dumb ass parent.
