The Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) has challenged Justice Minister Winter Kabimba to tell the nation the clear roadmap for the constitution making process.
FODEP executive director McDonald Chipenzi says it is still not enough just to assure the nation that the final draft constitution will be ready in June this year.
Mr. Chipenzi says what matters most is for the government to clearly state where the final draft constitution will be submitted to.
He says it should be clearly stated whether the final draft will be submitted to president Michael Sata or the referendum commission.
Mr. Chipenzi says unless there will be a clear explanation from government; the citizens of the country should not be blamed for speculating over the process.

Where is Transparency International (Zambia), I thought these are the matters they should be discussing with the public? There is this man called Lifuka and Lungu, where they? Now that they have achieved what they wanted to see Zambia go to, I am sure they are happy with their fat accounts given by PF, it is very sad that NGOs using other people’s tax payers money could be doing such wrong things. If Kabimba talks about the process we hear people complain he is interfering. He lets it go, you start calling him back. You should also state clearly what role you and HH want Kabimba to pla in the contitution making process.

The man is right. For a long time people have been silent and believing that PF were going to do the right thing. However, recently the chief government spokesman put the cat among the pigeons by speculating that the government might not put the final draft to a referendum. People need to know what happens after June.
zambian people, lets unite on this one. its only the constitution, a good one for that matter, that will make govts., starting with the pf, perform to peoples expectations. as it is now, our presido, no harm meant, has too much powers such that, he wont let go of them by giving us a new contitution now that he has tested the sweetness of power.

The referendum way should not be negotiable with SATA, KABIMBA, SAKENI and other crooks in government. It is the only way in the process as people have to clear the final draft through a vote. Most parliamentarians are bought by PF by use of old Kwacha been recycled through cadres at Bank of Zambia.
