Keshi In Business-Like Mood

Share

Stephen Keshi is business like ahead of Friday’s big Group C showdown against Zambia at Mbombela Stadium.

Zambia will be hoping to end a 31-year-old winless run against Nigeria at the Africa Cup finals.

“The team is Ok we are back focusing on the game tomorrow,” Keshi said at the team’s base at Ingwenyama Lodge on Thursday.

“We are just waiting for tomorrow to come, that’s it.

“There is no big thing to talk about we know the job we have to do here and it is to play Zambia.”

Zambia’s last win at the Africa cup over Nigeria was at the 1982 tournament in Libya when they beat the Super eagles 3-0 in their last Group B game.

  3. Zambia is weak. They have the skill and experience but they luck charecter. They need to be strong mentally. 90 minutes is not a joke….focus is all they need.

  4. Hmm. Through thick and thin. Every game is a new opportunity. That said I just want the 31 year old bragging rights. Lock and load boys. We’s a huntin’ us some northern birds:)

  5. A report just received from military base in Nelspruit statement reads-A no fly zone has been declared at mbobela stadium ,the Green Eagles have been informed to this effect and any attempts to defy this order will be met with deadly force an order to shoot on sight has been given to the snipers led by captain Christopher katongo to use the deadly chipolopolo bullets gun down any green bird that look like an eagle.

    • i agree with you, certain comments are really for public consumption, others are personal and need not find space for the masses.

  8. Why waste your time speculating about wo will win between Zambia and Nigeria? Just phone T B Joshua. He will tell us who will and at what margin. Even the players who will score. Isn’t that what Prophets are for kanshi?

  9. Some statistics will just intimidate or confuse u. Its not like the two teams meet every year the past 31 years. The number of times they have met will provide more objective data. I think they have met 7 times
