The Zambia national team gathered in Lusaka today to begin their week long training camp ahead of Saturdays 2012 Africa cup Group C qualifier against Comoros at Nkoloma stadium in Lusaka.
Seven foreign based call-ups who included the clubless duo of midfielder Rainford Kalaba and goalkeeper Kalililo Kakonje all turned up for the first full day of training.
The others are the Swiss based duo of striker’s Emmanule Mayuka and Fwayo Tembo including playmaker Isaac Chansa of Orlando Pirates in South Africa.
Fwayo is currently under watch after a reported injury on his knee but it is said to be minor.
Two other South African based players also reported for opening session of training and they were defender Kampamba Chintu from Amazulu and Noah Chivuta.

Ba LT naimwe, why do you refer to clubless players as being foreign based call-ups. You need to be in a a foreign country and called up from that country to be a foreign based call-up. just refer to Kalililo, Kalaba, Mbola, Noah as clubless players period and Chintu Kampamba is not at Amazulu he is at Bidvestt Wits.
In any case I think we should ride this one easily. What i think the challenge should be is to get at least three goals and concede nothing. Anyway let me just hold my breath, this is the same thing I said when we played Zanzibar and just look what happened, anyway lets keep our spirits high, I believe Mayuka wil get his first hattrick for Zambia in this game.
We have a chance to do a cricket score and send shiverz to the rest of our opponents in the group.
Does anyone know how much it will be at the gate at Nkoloma? This looks like some to do over the weekend

I totally disagree…last eight at the Africa Cup can just be written off.
