Share

The BP Top 8 final takes centre stage of a weekend packed of football action both on Saturday and Sunday.

Zesco United and Lusaka Dynamos face-off in the BP Top 8 final to be played at Nchanga Stadium in Chingola.

It will be Dynamos first cup final appearance in over 3 decades while this will be Zesco’s third final in the same competition that they have yet to win.

Both teams come into Saturdays cup final with contrasting form their most recent league matches
with Zesco enjoying a confidence-boosting 2-1 win over Zanaco away on Wednesday.

Zesco should have a strong side available led by strikers Nicholas Zulu and Enoch Sakala.

Dynamos on the other hand were unconvincing in their last league game on the same date losing 1-0 in a poor match away to City of Lusaka.

Things are not looking too good for Dynamos who have Saulos Mumba and Philemon Chipeta who both missed Wednesday loss due to injury.

Meanwhile, two league matches will be played on Saturday with another four on Sunday.

The two matches to be played on the midlands will see Red Arrows hosting Nkwazi while Green Buffaloes travel to Kabwe to play Green eagles.

And on Sunday, Power Dynamos host Roan United, Konkola Blades visit Nkana, Chambishi stay home to play Kabwe Warriors while Young Arrows travel to Nchanga to face Nchanga Rangers.

  3. Am going to tame furgason and make sure that his contract is terminated 4-0 today’s game. my boys are more fit and confident, we are the gunners. We gun the world

  4. Mbaweme #4. We are tired of Zambian soccer. The players behave as though they don’t watch advanced leagues. I would not like to be patriotic when the players themselves do not help me be patriotic. I can’t help it but watch good football. I only have one life to live and must enjoy it, not through forced patriotism.

    Gunners for life.

  5. Kwerekwere no.9 I understand your views but i think you never watched zambian football when you were younger 9 maybe you started after the gabon disaster like many ) o else you will know …” nagu tuwine nangu tu luse tuli fipolopolo” -why let the actions of a few footballers (i agree some are not patriotic)put you off coz whether you are a kwerekwere or not you are still a zambian.
