Opposition Patriotic Front (PF) Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda says the 16 renegade PF members of parliament ceased to be members when they stopped subscribing to the party.
Mr Lubinda, who is also the Party’s Spokesperson, said ‘the rebel MPs’ have no basis to continue representing the party as they don’t agree with the P.F’s policies.
Mr. Lubinda cautioned Zambians to stop using political positions as a way of personal benefit but rather of service.
He said the expelled MP’s should stop claiming to be PF members but should form their own party, instead.
Mr. Lubinda further said some of the rebel MPs he named have not visited their constituencies saying as a result they does not know problems their electorate were facing.
He said it was time these former MPs left the PF so that the party can focus on working on projects which are meant to benefit the people of this country.
He said this in an interview with ZANIS in Lusaka today.
Mr. Lubinda pointed out that the high court ruling was momentous adding that the renegade MPs should leave PF party alone so that new people can take over their positions and contribute with developmental issues.
Meanwhile Mr Lubinda has castigated members of the NCC for spending a lot of money on enriching themselves without considering others.
He challenged members of the NCC to work towards helping the majority Zambians living in abject poverty instead of lining their pockets.
He said given a chance he would have better represented people of his constituency because he is involved in a project called the grass is singing which involves a lot of people in the community.
Mr Lubinda pointed out that he spends more than K100 million to organize meetings and helping the needy in society saying he stands a better chance to represent the poor at the NCC.
ZANIS/VP/ENDS/MM
lelo lelo! You have been fired naughty MPs. Pabwato basop!
No gratuity! No wonder they were crying like babies.
And blogger of the year goes to …
Let the PF,s law take its course.
:d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d:-w lwanya
Lubinda is a man of people and well disciplined. If Zambia can have the such individuals to run the country what a better Zambia can be.
Rebel MPS are seeing red and are very much aware that they will be nothing shortly.Viva PF. Damn MMD and its unpopular Govt supporting indiscipline in other political parties to weaken them.
“THE GRASS IS SINGING”? IT SOUNDS FAMILIAR. IS THIS THE FILM WHICH WAS ACTED IN ZAMBIA STARRING MANDA (SOMETHING), BUT NEVER SHOWN IN ZAMBIA. OR MAYBE AFTER DONKEY AGES?
ANYWAY, LET’S GET ON THE BEAT. LUBINDA WE CONGRATULATE YOU AND PF ON THE EXPULSION OF THOSE MP, CROOKS. POLITICAL PARTIES, LIKE ANY OTHER ORGANIZATION HAVE POLICIES WHICH MUST BE FOLLOWED. AND WHEN ARE THE BY-ELECTIONS TO FILL THOSE VACANT POSITIONS, IF WE MAY ASK?
Booty them out very political prostitution & cantankerous leaders.Leave us lone.Try heaven no more here on earth.
AT FIRST THESE GUYS WERE BOASTING THAT THEY WERE POPULAR BUT IAM WONDERNG WHY THEY CANT LEAVE PF ALONE AND FORM THEIR ON PARTY AND CHALLENGE PF. THIS PROVES TO ME THAT THESE FOLKS WERE ELECTED ON SATA’S POPULARITY. TULEMIMNA BANE BAMACHUNGWA BACK TO THE GETO…
:-ss:-ss:-ss:-ss:-ss:-ss**==**==
Does this mean bye-elections are due in the 16 constituencies that these dishonourables where MPs in? 😕
If so, it is more money being wasted and the poor electorate who will foot the bill for the shameless greed and lack of principle of these chaps. The MMD may only be too happy for parliament to declare the seats empty so they can start giving away sugar and mealie meal to win the seats.
These MPs have failed us, thank you PF to stand on your principles and to Lubinda keep on doing good job and stand on your principles.
“Opposition Patriotic Front (PF) Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda says the 16 renegade PF members of parliament ceased to be members when they stopped subscribing to the party.Mr Lubinda, who is also the Party’s Spokesperson, said ‘the rebel MPs’ have no basis to continue representing the party as they don’t agree with the P.F’s policies.”
When did PF start having members? When did PF introduce membership subscription? When did the so-called “rebel MPs” start and stop paying PF membership subscription?
“Meanwhile Mr Lubinda has castigated members of the NCC for spending a lot of money on enriching themselves without considering others… Mr Lubinda pointed out that he spends more than K100 million to organize meetings and helping the needy in society saying he stands a better chance to represent the poor at the NCC.”
Mr Lubunda, these two statements indicate that you are wishing that you were part of NCC, but are now aggrieved that you are not. Just concentrate on your activities instead of feeling JEALOUS, Kalijo, of those participating in the NCC. Please finalise the chasing away of those rebel MPs so that we see who will protect your Sata from the imminent age limt clause in the C.
Mr. Lubinda further said some of the rebel MPs he named have not visited their constituencies saying as a result they does not know problems their electorate were facing.
Ba LT please “they does”
Maestro,
who are you asking those questions to? This is a PF thing so stay out. You don’t like the undereducated, so please Sir, stay away. You comments are not welcome. Pabwaaaaaaaaaaaaaatooooooooooooooooooooooo!
13. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe continued.
You want to appear as if you did not want to be on the NCC and you mwiile ku menena mate (you are busy swallowing saliva) on those getting the allowances now that you are not participating on the NCC.
Grow up as an individual and also PF instead of being jealous. Those MPs you are calling ‘rebel PF MPs’ have helped your Sata in his ambition of becoming Zambian President by blocking the age limit clause in the recommendations of the NCC and we will see who will oppose that motion when you finally succeed to remove them from PF. Go on and let us see what will happen to your Sata, unless you’re eyeing PF presidency when Sata is blocked by Constitution.
15. Sarah Jones, you accused me of not liking the undereducated in your “Maestro, …You don’t like the undereducated, so please Sir, stay away.”
On the contrary I like the undereducated, but not I also love the “Undereducate”, Micheal Chilufya Sata, if he is the one you are referring to in your posting.
In fact, I am planning to join the PF and challenge the Undereducate at a possible PF convention for PF presidency. It however appears like Mr Lubinda is also interested in the presidency so I need to increase the competition by joining so that I make sure the Undereducate’s amitions are terminated for good. Thus, I am asking PF those questions especially Mr Lubinda.
Meastro,
I think you envy Sata so much that you would want to be in his shoes. Stop yapping anyhow as you don’t belong to any party. Leave Sata alone as he is better than you underfive HH.
Maestro,
You joining PF, lol! Just leave us alone, You don’t know what drives PF. Come on just form your own party, and you will be president aleast.
Does this mean bye-elections?? If so when?
I do not trust Lubinda, this is a man who runs to where it is warm, he has no principle in life. He joined sata when he saw that things were brighter in pf(winning elections), I respect those rebel mps because they demonstrated some principles. Those rebel mps some of them were founder members of pf, they helped Sata to climb the ladder to see him reach where he is, than Lubinda who jumped on the wagon which was already moving and he does not even know where it started from. Lubinda went to join ULP under Saki crying like a baby who is denied food, and later abandoned him when he saw that it could not win any election. This man cannot take his kids to school without politics.
18. Sarah Jones and 19. Sarah Jones, on your “Maestro, You joining PF, lol! Just leave us alone, You don’t know what drives PF. Come on just form your own party, and you will be president aleast.”
There is nothing LOL about my possible joining of Poor Finishing PF. I need to make it a seriously viable political party by harnessing education and experience to it. Since the Undereducate has lost the Zambian Presidential election bid 3, three, three, times in a role; I need to transform PF from Poor Finishing to Win Finishing. To this end, I am positive that this is the right time for me to join PF because the is a presidential leadership crises just like Prof Chirwa wants to do 4 MMD.
22. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe continued.
Why must I go and labour to start a new party from scratch when I can seize the opportunity to led PF which has no proper leadership. Why, why, sarah – sarah jones?
PF has been rocked with Bemba Tribalism and now I need to bring in Tonga knowledge to the party. There is no need to politic here for Tonga knowledge will bring in quality hardworking learned mentality in PF. As a matter of fact,we need to re-work issues of party membership in PF. We need to take control of Southern and Western Provinces peradventure we can form GRZ as PF someday. Instead of trying to injure my republican constitutional to join PF,let us all join hands & work together.
22. Maestro,
So you want to make some sort of contribution to PF. You are welcome my dear as long as you don’t look down on the you know the ……………..Kaponyas. These guys the Kaponyas are where their are because of govt’s poor policies. I also intend to jion politics on my 35th birthday.
Cont. Therefore Lubinda should not chase or talk bad against the hand that helped to put food for him on the table. Lubinda will never support the NCC because it disadvantages chancers like him. Sorry, I do not see any principles in Lubinda, those who can see them are those who have known him today. The day when pf is weak he will jump on another moving wagon. This is a man who use to insult pf when he was in upnd and later ULP. Please, Lubinda leave those real pf guys I know anytime you may be joining another party because we know you are a political prostitute, you cannot put food on the table without tax payers money.
This is the party of the moment. Watch this! Sata has genuinely invested in this entity, hands down. I don’t care what the rest say. :d/
24. Sarah Jones, you wrote “22. Maestro, So you want to make some sort of contribution to PF. You are welcome my dear as long as you don’t look down on the you know the ……………..Kaponyas. You know, sarah, that I am probably the most Patriotic Zambian you have ever heard from and so why should I not join PF (Patriotic Front), eeh? You are very much aware that I do not look down upon Kaponyas, but just recognise their nature as KAPONYAS. Please, your intention on join politics when you are 35 is welcome as it is your right. I thought you are married and ….
27. Maestro Hhehhehhehhe continued.
I thought you are married and … if so, my guese is that you have to convince Mr Jones or whoever about your politics plans. Anyway, all the best, sarah jones and let us see if we can can change Zambia together.
I rest my case for now. :-\”.

Mastro,
Politics has nothing to do with wheather am married, Its my dream,………… sort of. Maestro I have been following politics since I was a teen and now am in my thirties. Dreams came come true.
Cont. Pf can form net GRZ without Sata as the president of the party because to many people tha Face of Sata reminds them of Chiluba’s poor governing policies and to make matters worse sata was his right hand man. So please pf guys you will never form any GRZ under Honourable Sata. Anyway, if you want choose Lubinda as pf president then you can win GRZ, so mind lubinda he is coming up and sata is handing over soon to Hon. Given Lubinda.
31. Chomba, Sata is what makes PF but I do agree with you that Sata maybe handing over to Hon. Give Lubinda.
Still the maths don’t work out here sorry. Don’t cut off the head and say the body can run headless!
Cont. As long as Sata’s head appears on the next balot box I will never vote for pf. This time pf is heading into the grave under Sata mind my words.
#33. Chomba. You are not God for us to mark your words. People are now crying for Sata. Don’t give us this nonsense that Sata is not a factor in our Zambain politics. Get it from me, Sata is what makes PF full stop!
33. Chomba, hhe hhe hhe hhe =)).
Vote for =; in 2011 for a combination of well-mannered leaders to form GRZ and lead the Nation to prosperity.
Now I know why there is no democracy in pf because one man controls and directs everything really this is dictatorship no wonder he cannot rule zed because we are democratic. If you followed the this coming new constituton it’s more demoratic thats why Sata is so allergic to it. And for that matter, if you pf guys had a constitution or manifesto these guys could have known the constitution allergy before joining the NCC. When we say records are important you say it’s wasting paper in pf, I think you are also to blame in this matter. Wages of a party without a manifesto is death.
Just accept pf is going nowhere, it’s for the party to always be in the opposition for check and balances period. Take that fact and peace will be upon you dear Sarah Jones.
Chomba,
Who told you that we wont come up with a party constitution and a manifesto before 2011? Easy Mudala Rome was not built in one day.
36. Chomba, but kwena Chomna nausosa data iingi iya mano. Finono muli #36, which I do not agree with.
The new Republican Constitution through the NCC will cause some-one and some-people to cray very very soon and then regret their poor actions over these looming expulsions of the so-called rebel PF MPs.
Let us wait and see how this drama will unfold.

#39.Maestro,
There is no drama that will unfold, these Mps have been naughty and they will see who is Captain of the Ship.
The drama will only unfold if RB will work miracles on our economy.

Due to concerns by Geologist, Canada, and 108. Dobo Banton(9th).LLB, I will be using the username G~la_fj in place of Maestro Hhehhehhehhe for some time.
I also wish to send you all my happy prosperous New Year 2009 to you all old and would-be new LT bloggers.
Having written that, I would like to announce, formally, that I will be very very rare on LT in the year 2009. This is because I am re-mounting operation ‘become Chess Grand Master’ and also I will be working for personal development following the advice from UPND spokesman Zambezi MP Charles Kakoma. I may not be available later in the day to do this since I have been invited somewhere to celebrate New 2009.
Be blessed y’all.
#45 continued.
I will definately miss you all and continue doing a noble cause for Zambia. Someday we will just make it as a Nation that will have move from low stature to one that will be riding on high, higher, heights.
By God’s grace, I hope to make it into the New Year 2009. I will be praying for you all and our country at large.
Please, remember who you are always and take care of yourselves.
With heart-felt love,
Mugungulu H. Mwaanga as Maestro Hhehhehhehhe.
#45, just a thought; would I be way off if I assumed that your age is between 15-25 years and find this ‘new found’ education/western system so overwhelming?
While you’re at it; explin how you will make a difference on the Zambian political scene when you run in the elections, being the ‘overeducate’ in SPACE PHYSICS? Do you intend to run in Chiengi against Kalumba?
47. Dark Knight, hhe hhe hhe hhe. At the moment, I am focussing on personal development like I mention in the above. I will try persuing a noble prize in Physics for now together with the Chess Grand Master Norm.
By God’s grace and providence, I will either join Zambian politics or concentrate on service directly linked to uplifting the lives of those that are underpriviledge and also make sure I inform more people about Jesus Christ’s imminent coming following Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Currently, I am working on securing a CT Scan machine for a Southern Province hospital to be chosen.
47. Dark Knight, on your “would I be way off if I assumed that your age is between 15-25 years and find this ‘new found’ education/western system so overwhelming?”
I am delighted to inform you that I am 28. Under the current 1996 Republican Constitution that we are using, I will be eligible to stand for Zambian President in 2016. On the issue of the Western Education system, I will try to learn as much as I can, but at some point I will have to marry hopefully a Zambian SDA woman and relocate home to empathise with my fellow Citizens. With the rare skills, I have amassed over the years, I am optimistic I will do enough for all Zambians in particular and world Citizens at large.
The pettiness of Zambian politics, where divergent views are not allowed even @ basic levels like party politics. Nothing but gold ols Zambian political debauchery at play here. As exagerrated as this may seem, if this party comes into power with Sata @ the helm, mark my words Zambia will have a genorous share of prisoners of conscience. People like Fred M’memebe if they dare go against the state will be made guests of the State @ Chimbokaila Lodge and Guest House.

#48/49 so your education in space physics will have no correlation to uplifting the Zambian people? You are in it for the Physics noble prize right?
How do you then attack “undereducated” people like Sata and some of us who cannot build a rocket, but likely understand what the poor people on the ground need? Also what “rare skills” do you have that ou have invoked? What’s your invention/contribution to mankind that required such rare skills?
I’m going to despute your age, just based on your postings, even education can’t mask age bud.
For 48/49- you’ve been brought to my attention by Dark Knight who’s statement could not have been more astute. People do not want to hear about your personal guts and glory. This same “I am the Man Attitude” is the one which has put Africa in problems. Your approach is very unfortunate for a learned person. You can pay for tuition my friend, but you cannot buy true education which life teaches. Your degrees will be nothing but inflated hot air ballons which some of us can deflate and bring down if you fail to apply lyour degerees logically- I digress….but I just had to say something.
I almost slept, but I convinced myself I have to be up until about 7 am or so only to find attacks when I switched on my laptop.
“So, we are hearing a lot of our competitors accusing us that we have not delivered. Surely, in 60 days, how many bridges can you build? How many houses can you construct? We are being accused about the difficulties the world economy is having. I even find people with grade four education saying they have got solutions to the problem of the economy,” Mulongoti said.

Minister Mulongoti couldn’t have put it much better than this.
Maestro Hhehhehhehhe as Physicist G~la_fj now.
=d>.
52. Dark Knight, your asked “#48/49 so your education in space physics will have no correlation to uplifting the Zambian people? You are in it for the Physics noble prize right?”
In response to your querry, I would like to firstly point your to my contribution on 45 Maestro Hhehhehhehhe where I categorically and clearly indicated that I am now going for PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT as I was advised by UPND Spokesman Zambezi MP Charles Kakoma to do so in this coming 2009.
My Physics/Space Physics education has a lot of applications for Zambia which I have from time to time posted on LT threads to those that questioned me. I have indicated that I will go for businesses in space activities.
56. your flag Physicist G~la_fj continued.
Such businesses will be tailored to offer education to those who need it. The surplus business proceeds will be channeled to social projects that will aim at uplifting those who needs more help than myself. I do not want to write much on this because I am working with cooperating partners who have expressed interest in helping me to build this empire. All I can write now is that let us wait and see how the good Lord God will lead us as we continue to be grateful to Him for His provision of life to us all.
52. Dark Knight, on your “How do you then attack “undereducated” people like Sata and some of us who cannot build a rocket, but likely understand what the poor people on the ground need? Also what “rare skills” do you have that ou have invoked? What’s your invention/contribution to mankind that required such rare skills?”
Please, just keep your eye to the ground for wind of news. I do not need to intimidate anyone on here. Time will tell.
52. Dark Knight, on your “I’m going to despute your age, just based on your postings, even education can’t mask age bud.”
Thanks for your understanding. :x.

Maestro, superior education is not everything – it merely guarantees you a good career at least. To be outstanding you need, intelligence, leadership skills, tact and charm to be successful.
If you don’t know, 40% of the Forbes top ten run some of the most succesful companies in the world but dropped out of college or university.
2008 reflections:
“Nangu chibe shani Nipabwato” – PF LT cadres in chorus.
“Ngoyu genteremani” – U-Team LT supporter.
“This election is about continuity of LPM’s policies” – MMD.
Who was the most composed and consistent blogger on LT?
What was the most interesting news of the year?
What was the saddest news of the year?
Who is the most improved blogger of the year?
Who was the most annoying blogger of the year?
Who was the best politician of the year?
Who was the best comedian on the political scene?
Who is the most serious contender for Zambian President come 2011 based on 2008 issues?
62. Dark Knight, you are well understood, but I have to move on. I believe I will do my part for Zambia at the right time. For now, let us see if I can be party to atleast one Noble Prize in Physics category. Atleast, I may just put Zambia on the world map as I bring in useful science and technology which will benefit the whole world. I am Zambian and so I will never leave my country and Nationals behind. It is just that 2009 brings new hope for me and 2011 will show which path Zambia will take. After all, I am only one in about 12 million Zambians which implies that others may surely do the part I might have been doing.I am nevertheless not indicating that I will not be there in causes.
The problem with Maestro is that education wasn’t meant for him at all.He spent his entire childhood herding cattles and by chase someone introduced him to school. In his own eyes, he thinks he is the most educated person. He reminds me of that Novel The woman of my Uncle.Maestro might have had alot of problems in term of aquiring his education as that guy in the above novel Muyunda. No wonder he can’t believe his luck even to be where he is.People like him can cause division, hatred and advocate for abuse of human rights if in power. Maestro you are the black skull of modern political sciences. The truth pains. Whats why UNDP can’t rule Zambians

65. your flag Pafwenamwine, whatever you think, let it be in your opinion! I am done and this is it.
I however hope to herd cattle one of these fine days in one of Zambia’s provinces. After all, my fellow villagers live their lives in such daily, daily. How nice it will be to empathise with them villagers at home in Zambia far from these busy schedules and pollution of all sorts. =d>.
Maestro, I’m just trying to make you understand that education is not a weapon to use against those who may not had a chance to go to school for various reasons. You and I may be the luckiest ones but we have to use this gift from God to help those who many not have had a chance. They are our brothers and sisters. Every human being served is good for Humanity and education plays an important role in serving human beings. Your Educated voice can make a big difference Brother for those difenceless and voiceless people in Zambia. Stand up for them and God will reward many times.
#
68. your flag Pafwenamwine, I will consider your concern. Thanks and keep well.
#69 I wish you happy new year and remain blessed
#70, thanks very much and let us hope we will have 16 MP by-elections soon.
am in sweden and can please someone tell me the names of those expelled. was wondering if saviour chishimba was one of them? I cant stand that guy.
Thanks.
am also not so sure can someone respond to that?am in canada. merry xmas to all my fellow zambians. love u all.
#72. litiya banda sutter and #73. lolo, Saviour Chishimba reconcilled with the Undereducate and so I am positive he is not affected. However, the so-called ’16 rebel’ PF MPs have applied to a higher court against the ruling your so or heard of. Therefore, the circus continues. I can’t wait to the 16 expelled so that the NCC can conclude the changing of who qualifies to be Zambian President. That PF MPs in NCC have been delaying progress on the maximum age-limit of a Presidential Candidate, but now I am sure this will be decided without opposition in the NCC.
Let us keep watching as we await the final outcome of the courts, the would-be expulsions and then the trciky to win by-elections.
2008 Grade 7 exam results out
“One Hundred and Ninety-Seven thousand, two hundred and fifty-nine pupils, who sat for their grade seven examinations, have made it to grade-eight.
This represents a progression rate of 65. 44 percent compared to 60. 33 percent in 2007.
A total of Three-Hundred-and-thirty-two-thousand-two hundred and seventy nine pupils sat for the examinations.
About thirty thousand eight hundred and fifty two candidates were absent from the examinations.”

75 continued.
“And some pupils, who sat for the examinations are happy with the outcome of the results urging those who have failed not to despair.”
This is the spirit. Let those who failed continue trying and hopefully one day they will make it by passing to Grade 8.
I hope the Undereducate will also register the upcoming 2009 Grade 7 examinations considering Mr Mulongoti’s quoted message somewhere in the above postings.
To those that have passed, congratulations on your achievement for it is not easy to pass even after working hard in class and studying.
Mr.Lubinda what developmental projects are you doing in Kabwata? You and Sata are the same. Look at Kabwata market sure bo Lubinda 5 years in Parliament as a PF MP, what can you tell the people who sent you to Manda Hill. Kabwata is like Mutendele on roads, no running water this is just the basics that people need. Please Mr MP leave your friends and wait for 2011. Your time is drawing near.
Chomba,
As a founder member of the PF, let me correct your misconceptions. Given Lubinda stood on the PF and not ULP ticket. Lubinda was a member of PF before any of the rebel MPs. None of the rebel MPs is a founder member of the PF. Rebel MPs like Barnabas Chella, Peter Machungwa, Dr. Chisha, Chibamba and many other rebels joined the PF just before the elections and were unfortunately and mistakenly adopted as candidates by the PF. This is biggest blunder the PF made.
“Rebel PF MPs write to Speaker
By REBECCA CHILESHE
THE National Assembly has received a letter from the expelled Patriotic Front (PF) members of Parliament informing it that they will appeal against the Lusaka High Court’s decision to dismiss their injunction restraining their party from expelling them.
This means that Parliament would only deal with the letter from the PF after the legal process is complete.”
Source:ww w. daily-mail. co. zm/ media/ news/ viewnews. cgi ?ca tegory =3 & i d = 1230627249
“Parliamentary chief researcher and press liaison officer Chikomeni Banda confirmed this in an interview in Lusaka yesterday.
“We have received a letter from the PF members of Parliament who were expelled from their party after the Lusaka High Court ruled against their injunction. This means that the Speaker cannot declare the seats held by the expelled MPs as vacant until the whole legal process is complete,” he said.”
“And spokesperson for the expelled MPs Peter Machungwa said it was premature for PF to start talking about by-elections when the legal battle for the MPs to keep their seats has not been exhausted.
Dr Machungwa said in a separate interview that his lawyers had already written to the National Assembly informing the Speaker that the MPs had sought leave to appeal against the judgement passed by the Lusaka High Court.”
““The National Assembly has been informed of the fact that a notice of appeal has been sought and that our lawyers have appealed against the High Court ruling to the Supreme Court of Zambia.
“In the meantime, all those MPs who are taking part in the National Constitutional Conference (NCC) will continue with their work,” he said.”
“Dr Machungwa said the 16 MPs would also continue to work on all development projects that they had embarked on in their respective constituencies and that they did not expect any interference from anyone.
Last week, the PF wrote to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Amusaa Mwanamwambwa asking him to declare the 16 seats vacant so that by-elections could take place.”
==========================
The case is far from over and we may reach 2011 normal elections time before it is concluded.
Just chase those MPs and dissolve the PF thing. Its just a party of clowns. Remember how Lubinda himself moved from UPND to PF. He stands no chance of winning on his own. He is riding on Sata’s back.
84 NORA
What wrong with Given recognising who is popular and being loyal to such a person. How many people have changed parties and is it a crime to change parties openly.
Those “rebel” MPs are riding on Sata’s back but don’t want to be loyal to him and this is what is dangerous and should be stopped. Dissolving PF if, you did not know will be dissolving Zambia and we will not be doing oueselves a favour. Imagine Zambia without PF, MMD will smile all the way complacently to the core of the coffers of this nation all in the name of serving the electrorate. Shikapwasha is telling us that RB is at Mfuwe to serve the zambians, can you imagine that.
#80 Thought you changed your screen name Mr Learned man! :d:d:d:d:d:d:d
This Peter Machungwa plunderer, who does he think he is?These rebel chaps must be expelled and their seats declared vacant. They are a disgrace. They are just afraid of losing their gratuity and allowances to pay back their credits(loans).Their posh vehicles have still not been fully paid for and their only source of income is about to be taken away.regardless of the cost of by-elections,these guys must be expelled so that its a lesson to all traitors who forget their party ticket and chose to toil on selfish personal gains(the only reason they chose NCC)
#84 People like you surprise me. Despite being in America amano kwati niku Zambia still.
America has Democrates and Republicans. Britain has Torries and Labour. Imagine all those votes Sata got! Did you bother to find out the difference between RB and HH?

86. your flag 3RqU, you are welcome. It appears that my PC likes the Maestro … name. Anyhow, check out now.
#87 Spot on. I talked about that in post #2.
We know ama politics yaku Africa. These guys are worried about how they are going to pay back inkongole. In the past they would have been standing again on the MMD ticket. But, I hear things have changed now in MMD, they can not be adopted right away so yashupa guys.

Amen! Wishing all a prosperous 2009.Ha finally NyamaSoya has chased his over age old kids from mfuwe. RB really wasted Tax payers money to fete his overage retirement age senior street kids and their offsprings in mfuwe. I pity Zambia and it’s wastefulness.
Whether people accept or deny it, SATA is a man. Even on LT, just check the headlines for Sata or pf, they speak for themselves. i accept that he is not 100% perfect but i think at the moment he is the best man for Zambians.
FTJ:”Those calling me names will be crushed because i’m anointed by God and stand on a rock that can never be broken” amen, what do you think guys?

Typo there Rashid :d:d:d
BRAVO!
3RqU, morning,how are you?
Morning Rashid,3RqU,Ako kanono fimofimo, etc
Lubinda Has spoken! That’s our man. Fostina sinyangwe should now find her way ku MMD. No one messes with Sata and gets away with it! never! :o)
Good news indeed but when are the by elections. Have they been booted out already. these Machungwa boys & girls are there to enrich themselves. KICK THEM OUT
This is very interesting for PF.
I hope PF is a serious party and not just people who will occupy themselves with a lot of talking, quareling, fighting and firing one another based on bias and selfish agendas.
Policies, OK, I hope PF has genuine and reliable policies. The 16 MPs defied PF policies by going to NCC which PF was opposed to and so they deserve to be expelled. That is true, when you enter any agreement or belong to any association or institution you got to abide by the rules. And so PF is correct to expel the so-called rebel.
But I though PF was also opposed to the increments for parliamentary office bearers? What will PF do to the rest of the MPs who defied the resolution?
morning Pinkly.i miss you
Today everyone should reflect on the achievements that you have made in 2008. what contribution have you made to Zed. there are so many people who have died in 2008 and you have been spared imagine(thank GOD),so please try to find out what mission GOD wants you to accomplish.reflect on your life whether you are a posive contributor to the world or negative and please make adjustments in the coming year. God richly bless you all.

I agree with you. People dont hate SATA, they simply want to question his moves, his coments and his actions and try to much them together.
On the other hand I do not intend to agree that there is anybody who fears SATA, NO. People want to avoid some of his actions but not fear him. In fact there is no need to think that there could be two groups of people; those who fear Sata and those who dont, No. Nothing like that. Assume that SATA was to make a good leader, all Zambians would benefit. At the same time if SATA was to make a bad leader, all Zambians would suffer the consequences.
Not everyone who disapproves Mugabe’s rule today did so from the beginning, No. But..
I like Sata and i voted for him in the last presido elections. Sata keeps people busy and he never stops – win or lose. Sata was on radio yesterday FM and you should have head the people pour out the anger at so many wrongs that are currently going on. the people are angry at how RB has been spending their hard earned money in Mfuwe yet there are job losses looming in the mines, NCZ, price hikes on essentials, infrastructure delapidating, etc. the villagers that voted for RB dont know all these things because they dont have them and so they have not experienced the difference. Ine ni pabwato!!!!
and lets see if the rebel MPs can go it alone or any other party. **==
SATA has just lost those seats. MMD will win those seats and SATA will regret the day he chased those rebel MP’s simply because they had an opinion.
This is a man that some Zambians want in power. A man who does not take constructive criticism.
What a lost old man.
We want Parliament by-election ASAP It will cost us money but that is the cost of democracy.
#112. KCM
Your observation is impossible to achieve.
Where will I find time to oppose everything PF does when they are always talking, fighting, firing, insulting etc.
Would I even cope with such level of attentionistic activity in PF
#117. Fine!
You don’t have to worry about PF. They still have not changed their campaign style. They are still campaigning along the line of rail and the same pattern of results will still stand. The pattern is SATA wins along the line of rail and loses in the rural areas. And then SATA will try again the next election and still maintain the same campaign style. That pattern of behavior proves to me that SATA will not do anything different if he had to be in power today that he did not do during CHILUBA’s reign.
FACT, PF will never attain the presidency. My problem with PF is they cause a lot of noise pollution and are very annoying. They never offer any intelligent arguments and only
cont from #118]
only offer curse words and a rebuttal to an argument. It is sometimes funny to see actually. I sometimes come on this site so as to see how the PF e-thugs are going to pin a scandal on RB. It is actually funny to see. Someone pins ZAMNET getting hacked to RB. Where is the connection??
Right now I am independent and I am waiting for that glimmer of hope to pop up hopefully before 2011. HH has disappointing me and SATA has got no morals and principles. MMD does not sit that well with me.
We need fresh new blood in this game. Hopefully an intelligent youth or woman.
should read “only offer curse words as a rebuttal to an argument.”
should read “HH has disappointed me”
SATA is crying about DAN KALALE and the ECZ when he was instrument in both.
SATA was asked yesterday as to why he is complaining about the electoral laws when he was instrumental in making these laws. The man could not give concrete answers.
He kept talking about 44 years of independence and we are still in a mess when he has been in governance for all this time contributing to the same mess.
He knows where the problems are as he created or at least contributed to most of them if not all.
Now he turns round and blames other people, and so easily convinsible are the many Zambians who easily forget yesteerday’s issues and get emotional and whole heartedly believe him.
#121. Fine!
That was beautiful. I hope you don’t mind if I copy it and make it my wallpaper.
BRAVO!!! =d>

Fine, which political party do you support? or who do you think can be a beter President in Zambia? Wow not a PF supprter but i like and support SATA.
GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD S**T
Fine and FMC make me vomit with their undying love for RB + their endless posts dont make any sense. What has the MMD done 4 you????
#95 + 110, #114, #107
With or without legal stationery, SATA rocks. Painful as it is to some of us…….infact to very few of us, He’s the man making Zambian politics.
You just have to hear his ugly voice on the radio, and its a magnet. You will move closer. You should have listened to him on radio yesterday.
I did not vote for him, and much as I still think he is not the right man for Zambia, SATA is the man
OUCH!!! painful isnt it?
I hope the MPs of PF will be expelled for the rest of their lives. Greedy and hopeless chaps.
It is SATA all the way
#119. Free-Market-Capitlst
I totally agree with you.
We most importantly need fresh blood of enlightened people.
I dont want to define madness as was put by one of the world’s earlier scholars, but it will not help us as Zambians to be doing the same thing in the same way and same premises and yet expecting different results.
People who have been in governance for more 44 years and shout out to the nation they now is the time for them to do good. Now that they are old they are ready to do better than they have done in 44 years?
Oh No!
“And chief government spokesperson Lieutenant General Ronnie Shikapwasha has said President Rupiah Banda is a young Christian who has been thrown to the highest position and should be supported by all Christians so that the Lord can help him lead the country well.” EH YOUNG CHRISTIANS?
Thank God for this development. It’s about time mwe. Nomba twalabamona, especially abena chitika abalefolesha ifitenge fya MMD mu Kawambwa. Kuya bebele!!!:)>-
#128 Sister what next after expelling the rebel MPs?
DID YOU KNOW?????
The ‘Chip’ being used on the much talked about Biometric Passports (New Passports) has a manufacturer warranty of only up to 24 months (2yrs). So who is going to pay the cost for replacement of these passports when read errors start being detected??
#132 MMD died when Mr.Mwanawasa died that He couldn’t find a man in MMD that is why he pick RB who was fast asleep at his farm in Chipata.
Long Live MMD the hour is over.
“NATIONAL Energy Sector and Allied Workers Union (NESAWU) general secretary Yotam Mtayachalo has appealed to Patriotic Front (PF) president Michael Sata to reconcile with his 16 estranged members of Parliament to avert by-elections.”
YOTAM M’TAYADZIKO SHUT UP. YOU, YOURSELF, HAVE BEEN REJECTED BY ZESCO WORKERS AND YOU ARE HANGING IN THERE THROUGH COURT ORDERS.

I am not a cadre, and i dont intend to be one.
In 2006 I voted for LPM, yet for the MP I voted for a PF MP.
I will never be in a box, i think that is for those that have chosen to be in politics.
I will tell you that MMD policies are not so far from PF’s and UPND’s, only a few faint dividing lines.
In my view the policies of all these party are more or less the same; what we lack are the calibre of people.
LPM was seen to have done better than Chiluba and SATA, not because he chnged party, but because he was more serious.
Therefore I am more ‘people analytical’ than ‘party analytical’. That is why despite SATA talking better than all the political players….
#115 obviously you live abroad! wait and see because PF shall take control of their sits.
mwilaibepa.

#140 cont’d..
That is why despite SATA talking better than all the political players in Zambia my emotions are unchanged. I am not attracted by someone’s sensse of humour but their moral and senserity which must link their word to their actions.
I cannot be confused by a person who fought for Chiluba to continue for a ‘third term’ defending him to the Zambians that he was the best Zambia had, and after he forms his party he turns round and says Chiluba messed up Zambia for 10 years. Defending himself he says there was nothing much he could do since he was not on the drivers’s seat. Now if he knew that the one on the driver’s seat was doing wrong why fight for his continuity?
Fine do you have a job?
Only asking! 😕
#142. Fine!
What you have said is very true. Even the cadres that shout around following Sata are blind to his deceit. Sata was there during Chiluba’s reign and his was number 3. He is a contributing factor as to why the poor that he manipulates are in that position.
He helped write and pass the laws and he also voted for them. If it was just that, I would have been willing to support SATA but the fact that he endorsed a third term bid of a failed govt that he was part of added salt to the injury and just enforces what I have thought of Sata all along. Sata is just power hungry who will do and say anything to be president.
Bloggers
Careful with Fine and FMC… they are Shushushu’s.. am telling you. if you cross their paths, the cops will come knocking at your doors around 03-04hrs. Pinkly has spoken
140 AND 142
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOUR OBSERVATIONS.
BUT PLEASE TONE DOWN ON YOUR HATE FOR SATA.
#143. 3RqU
When you say job what do you mean?
Do you mean formal employement, self-employement or business?
Could you shade more light?
Fine, what did LPM do for Zambia? Chiluba performed, results are there for everyone to see.
143
HOW COULD YOU ASK THAT. YOU DON’T SEE THAT THIS FELLA IS ON SOME MMD TICKET SOME HOW. HE IS A BENEFACTOR.
#146. FINE! IMBWA
I love SATA more than most of his supporters.
In fact most of his supporters hate him.
I hope you know that every normal parent loves his/her children.
That is the reason why when a child tells a lie, the parent may even whip that child because he/she wants the best out of the child. The same is done when the child steals
Now, I dont where you obtain your concepts that when we criticise someone then we hate him. SATA criticises many people; i dont take it he hates them, apart from LPM where SATA himself confessed that he had hatrade before the recon.
Otherwise from mere criticism I would have never know there was hatrade between them.

LISTEN TO RASHID JONES ALSO.
#148. Rashid Jones
CHILUBA
-Double digit inflation rates
-skyrocketing unemployment
-extreme weakening of the kwacha
-skyrocketing commodity prices
MWANAWASA
-Single digit inflation rates
-mild reduction in unemployment rates
-strengthening of the kwacha
-stable commodity prices
How did Chiluba perform?? Please explain.
152
CHILUBA
Road rehabilitation
Home empowerment
Free flowing of goods and services
More cars onn zedian roads
More buses on zedian roads
MWANAWASA
Appointing Nevers as Vice President
Appointing opposition MPs as ministers
Allowing KCM to be given for a song
Allowing free reign of the wife and family tree.
Fine was that a brainer to you? :d
What do you do for your living?:-?
#15 and 153 my father is bigger than yours comes to mind! Very funny.
Oops! 152 and 153!
#148. Rashid Jones
If in you view LPM did nothing and you see nothing that LPM did, then me trying to show you what he did ismost likely to be a futile project. Because under normal circumstances you should have at least seen one or two things by yourself. If that has not happened then showing you anything may not be the best way to expend effort because not much may be expected from such effort.
Imagine a grade seven pupil who has been leaning from first term up to third term, then a day before exams he tells his teacher, “Sir, I know nothing from day one; help me”. The teacher may not do more than just pity the child.
#153. FINE! IMBWA
MWANAWASA
-Citizens economic empowerment fund
-Free flowing of goods and services
-Increase in FDI
-Economy growing positively at 6%
CHILUBA
-No citizens empowerment
-No FDI
-Economy in constant recession.
What you said about LPM are personal issues rather than economic issues. How is “Allowing free reign of the wife and family tree.” affecting the economy?? Please explain.
#152Free-Market-Capitlst, My friends dont talk about digits. imflation and stability of the currency is not development. talk about roads, general infrastructures like shopping malls, tourism, schools, hospitals etc. do you know that unemployment during LPM’s was very high compared to FTJ. Im not saying FTJ was perfect, but despite stealing, the guy worked.
157
I LIKE YOUR EXAMPLE HERE. KEEP IT UP.
BUT TEACHER NGA ALELOFWA, PUPIL KUTI AIPUSHA MWE.
158
Maureen was all over using our money that cpould have gone into other service and citizen emancipation.
Sisala was all over running down the power utility Zesco.
Mutesha was all over ruinning Zamtel
LPM was all over seeking specialised medical services at the expense of UTH
Do you still need more.
#159. Rashid Jones
The digits you despise are aids to development. Capitalism was one of the best things Chiluba brought but it couldn’t work with double digit inflation rates, currency instability and less investment in the education sector all carried out by the Chiluba regime.
FYI, the only strip malls that popped up during Chiluba’s reign was Manda Hill. Arcades, Downtown, Crossroads and Victoria falls malls where all in the LPM regime. Road infrastructure had greater improvement under LPM than it did under Chiluba. And just to add some cream on your pie on the unemployment rates. When Chiluba got into power IN 1991, unemployment was at 21%. When Chiluba left power, unemployment[tb
cont from #162]
unemployment was at about 50%+. How is that for working at reducing unemployment.
And Sata wanted this man to go for third term. Amazing you still maintain your support for Sata even after having access to information at this point in Zambian political history.
#161. FINE! IMBWA
Do you have an account showing Maureen Mwanawasa using state funds for her own personal agenda. As far as I am concerned, not a single penny of state funds in the state budget goes to the first lady. As far as I also know, if she was using any money, it was HER OWN MONEY or HER HUSBANDS MONEY.
If you have access to information proving that she was being allocated money straight from the state into her bank account, please provide this proof to the necessary authorities as this is embezzlement. Why hide such valuable information.
#164 Penny in Zambia? :d:d:d:d:d
FMC, all malls that you have mentioned ar Chiluba’s projects, LPM was just a beneficially. research man
#133 FATHER KWANZAA
My brother are you saying even if we have messed up people representing us in parliament, we should just keep them? For what? They’re just representing themselves. To me its still good riddance.
The President and other opposition parties should expel, fire, dismiss, or whatever word you find fitting, ministers and MPs that are failing to perform.
red card to rebel MPs
Yaba, what a waste of money for bye elections meant just to soothe sata’s bruised ego. And this is the man who claims to have the people’s interests at heart. Such a joke this sata and his movement of tribalists. 2009 is going to be a tough year for the country and the only thing sata wants is to stay in the limelight at all costs, even at the cost of the economy and the poor people? No wonder afwila mubana mudala uyu; he’s a witch
What SATA is doing is not a way of solving anything in the interest of the nation. It is out of a selfish agenda. SATA never wanted the constitution to change because he wants to find the same constitution if he became president. And since he was very hopeful that he would win he wanted the cracky constitution to remain that way so that he can abuse office the way Chiluba did at the advice of the same SATA.

Sata the man of zambia
Sata the lion of zambia, when it roars usless polical parties put their tails behind.
Sata the unfathomed political brain teaser

Sata the crowd puller
Sata whose follishness is wiser than the wisdon of the educated HH.
Sata whom mestrol heheheheh wants to join

It looks like if you want to be president so badly you don’t get it. Am sure we don’t even know who the next president will be. He must be in some rural district quiet. Sata will NEVER be president. Too bad Kambongolo. His charm does not work on God. He is the one who chooses leaders including you most hated Nyama soya and late LPM. Hard as it may be to undertsna dor belive, thats the way it goes. He certainly has contributed something to Zambia’s politics.

To all LT bloggers Happy New Year Jah Bless
Self appointed political leaders in PF,will take us nowhere.
#175 I agree with your observation.
i’m now changing my modus operandi. a happy new year to you all.
#178, I agree with you 100%. This is the problem with blindly following a man so obsessed with becoming a president that he even fails to realise he is naked. Just go and ask Sata what the presidency is, he has no clue. He will simply say ukuteka. What is ukuteka, he has no clue. Maestro advised Sata to sit for grade 7 exams and we have been advising to start farming but to no avail. How can we trust such people.
“Mr. Lubinda cautioned Zambians to stop using political positions as a way of personal benefit but rather of service.”
Pity that Mr Sata did not heed this advice when he chose personal benefit over service by foregoing a potential link with UPND during the elections. Most of his career decisions – as he has bounced from one party to another, one allegiance to another and changed policies on a daily basis to suit the headline of the day – have been based on placing himself above others. This is a man who is and has always been a bully. I seem to remember him being joined at the hip with Chiluba – something he would rather we forgot. Mr Sata is not the leader the country needs!
106. Fide, thanks very much and take care.
107. Na K greetings. You wrote “#79, 80, 81, 82,83, Why do you hate Mr Sata if I may ask? What wrong has he done to you? I have given answers to your questions before and indicated that I love the Undereducate, Micheal Chilufya Sata. Have yourself a blessed future including good health.
119. Free-Market-Capitlst greetings, you wrote “We need fresh new blood in this game. Hopefully an intelligent youth or woman.”
Well I will only write to you ‘muunda wakhudala siuvuta kulima’. So the best is to correct the mess we have instead to trying something new that will take 10 – 20 years to get popular. Zambia is approxiamtely 750 000 square kilometres in terms of area/land and a new thing will certainly not find it easy and also probably get broken to pieces before its desired goal is achieved. Wait and see.
170. Fine! you couldnt have put it any less than I would have tried. Hats off for this wise analysis.
GIVE CHANCE TO YOUNG POLITICIANS
It is no longer a question of just politicking surely people should be able to note that with age comes a few other things from a number of traits, it sometimes follows that when people get old they become wise and reflect on what they have done in life and see when to call it quits. Others still want to fill they have the energy to do everything they did when they were 60. Growing old does not go with comparison of one person to the other, because the habits of one’s existence compared to another are different. Some are vegetarians while other has been meat gobblers all their lives, hence ones habits contribute to how their body and mind degenerates.
A
