  1. Recognition of LPM commitment to democratic rule is good for all concerned esp AU and the Great Lakes in particular. Nomba bane FTJ Centre for Democracy pa Arcades yalobelela ninshi nangu will it ever be completed?

    • I donno how long u’ve been away frm Lsk dude, its now being developed into an office park. Give the area 5 more years and it will be beautiful.
When u look at the bottom line, LPM was a great man. What irritated most people were just petty issues and jealousies bordering on personality otherwise, professionally, he deserves the accolades hands down.

  2. Levy was a good man, my worry is the end legacy, thats why people keep changing perception about him from being good to below that. He left for us NyamaSoya and the system as it is prone for manipulation by the ruling party, NyamaSoya ” went through” and we all know it was not genuine. So we are stuck with him. Reversed all the gains that could have befitted this being proposed. Yaba Katwishi. limbi chilifye Bwino, nachibe. yaba .

  3. I see nothing wrong with this idea if it can be reasonably financed and implemented. After all the immediate beneficiaries are not us but those that shall come after us, so lplease let’s not only think of today (Anonymous & Russian).

  5. Appreciating wat Levy contributed is not bad but setting up the headquater because of levy is not reasonable coz levy died with his vision the leaders comig after him are very different perhaps with no visions at all.

  6. While I appreciate this gesture, let us all realise that the dead are dead. In lieu of wasting funds in championing a cause that those who are alive like President RB Banda have committed themselves to do as a legacy of late former President LP Mwanawasa, let us use the money for that the would-be centre to fund our ailing universities so that we can develop technologies that will assist all African Nations to put water and food on the tables of all african nationals.

Late LP Mwanawasa fought his fight and so let us emulate hime by fighting our own fights instead of trying to (photo-)copy him.

This is time to move on and not waste resources in terms of both human land numbers of…
