  1. I am curious to know what Thandiwe’s domestic and regional efforts are. I believe that this is the same organization that had been initiated by Maureen Mwanawasa and other First ladies of Africa, while Maureen may have been able to talk about her efforts with MMCI, Thandie may face some challenges in that she has not taken up any particular cause- at domestic level anyway. However, I feel that she can wing it and will do well.

  2. Lekeni ba sambeko. Michele Obama might give her a few tips on being an International first lady.. at the moment amake Temwani aweee mweee…… sometimes ni zamanyazi maningi..

  4. So that is why RB was walking hand in hand with another Lady fimo fimo on the opening of fimo fimo. Now TB just concentrate on leading Zambians abroad while your husband misleads us back home.

  5. Do us proud the first lady…. Great you are ……you surpass Vera and indeed Regina ,of course Mama kaunda will remain the divine woman Zambia …….

  6. Lady Thandie, Here is an opportunity for you to learn. Something big will develop from such exposures. Whether in State House or elsewhere your knowledge will benefit people. Watch your star unfold.

  7. Tandiwe will be fine. She will even be better if she comes out truly Zambian and anyway who speaks good English in America? She can go nefikuti in her hair, nobody cares, this is America. Diversity rocks. Haters do you hear me? Tandiwe is first lady, get with the program!

  8. Bo Inonge is a great woman…. No one beats her in her job…. Steve Segeal said it .The first lady will come back a great woman……. woman of virtue so the good book says…

  9. Madam thandi rome wasnt built in a day panonopanono mukafika. Ask were u r not clear. Gud lak make us proud. Jamaco wansekesha amano kwati mu tumbuka no offence am tumbuka

  10. Our first lady is a sober and cultured conservative Zambian woman.Leadership is not about being flowery, grandiose and impressionistic through exaggerated outfits.Mrs Banda is alive to the fact that Zambians are struggling and overdoing overdoing it would be phony and not sincerity. Her dressing and public postures are perfect Conservative African motherhood. She has the cultural identity to be like mama Kaunda the most respected first ladies. The husband is well educated and a seasoned Diplomat who understands barriers of a wife. Thus, unlike Maureen, Mrs Banda is respecting of institutional barriers. She is not an attention seeker but a humble and submissive woman.

  11. Madam Thandiwe Banda, our love and blessings to you. The lord lifts the meek in spirit and humble in conduct which you are.He brings down to shame and pain the proud. You are a conservative mother of the nation.Leadership neither comes from man nor the tabloids but from God.That which God has raised, no man can destroy it except its own destruction.Again, blessings and Bravo!!!!!

  12. The great guy above raised LPM and made him pick RB ,the rest was an enzyme cascade reaction ……Thandi the Mitochondrial product now in USA….

  13. This conference is about Africa, forgive me if am mistaken, but why is this being held in the States? Couldnt Zambia or South Africa host this? Is this one of them holiday moves they make in the name of conferences? And why is it that only less than 50% of Africa is represented?

  14. STOP WINGING AND DO SOMETHING WORTHY!! YOUR MATES ARE VOTING FOR MISS UNIVERSE ZAMBIA AND ALL YOU ARE DOING IS GETTING MISERABLE. BE HEARD. CHOOSE YOUR REPRESENTATIVE.. http :// ukzambians. co. uk/missuniversezambia/

  15. why are they meeting in los angeles? if they are dicussing africa health related issues why not meet some where in africa. some one help me, i simply fail to follow the logic, or may be there isnt any logic in them meeting in the states.

  16. No# 16 Chikomeni village do not give out our Tumbuka state secrets lol. I love the humour though. Thandiwe is not the problem everyone, it is her Husbands presidential principles. Could I give further insight into the Zambian first lady, she is a teacher; thus an educationist if I could use such a word. The husband on the other hand makes a man almost cry for his country. Her humble true African form is going to be more appeciated here than if she went for the European touch. I know we are all mad at President Banda, especially after all those crazy Cabinet appointments and everything else he is doing that just gets me even more annoyed, but lets give Thandiwe a chance.

  17. No# 25 Ndise Banandi, Konse Uko di kumanya amama nasekelela, God bless you guys, and all you my other Zambian relatives from Provines counting nine. Also to my Zambian family that came from countries aeound the world.

  18. Iwe first lady tell the Zambian embassy frogs to give us new passports or mail us forms. Fyalishishita saana. Na ma phone tafyasuka. Why should they represent us here when they are not material and competent enough to work t the embassy. This is not third world, incompetency ni ku Zed..

  19. iwe first lady tell the embassy staff to mail us passport forms. bashishita saana. why should they work ku embassy when they cant serve us. incompetency ni ku Zed.

  20. LT , We need pictures of TB in LA, This is an opportuninty for her to shine. Please ba LT even one foto will do .

  21. ma Zambians are just fond of kushoba their own. what is this about Mrs Obama? She has since became the best. For me I think Maureen’s dress code is better than Mrs Obama’s. Vonse ni Obama Obama, be proud of your own. Thandie is fine, she can not be like Michelle. Us Africans have our own african traditional attires which we can promote. Kukopela is the order of the day from ba some of US.

  22. I am curious why these African First ladies have to meet in L.A.? How come they plan a venue somewhere in Africa? Sounds like a shopping spree….

  23. There was drama at Los Angeles Airport when a bouquet of Roses meant for the Zambian first lady were mistakenly given to her Aide De Camp!!!!

  24. Congratulation our first .Wishing you all the best of lucky and GOD’S BLESSINGS.Nevertheless,i would also like to ask your to change by buying better suits. Also ,use the opportunity to take your self for further studies. Once again GOD bless you.
