  3. He is the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Alexandria and all Africa. The Orthodox church, the orthodox christian mission built new schools in Zambia and center for orphans. Look the news in greek language about his visit and tranaslate.

  4. If someone wants to know more about Orthodox Christian Faith and Orthodox Christian Church, he could find many Orthodox theological things from google – internet. The Orthodox Chruch was a Church from 33 A.C and today has 300.000.000 faithfulls ( Orthodox Christians ) all over the world and many Patriarchates, for example the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria, Egypt and all Africa, the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem ( the Holy Land ) etc. These are the ancient Patriarchate of the Church.

  5. This is probably what is called a pastoral visit. This patriarch is considered the spiritual father for all the Greek Orthodox believers in Africa. What kind of father would he be to them if he never went to visit them? He has to maintain a relationship with them, like any father. Also, it is a special time right now, being so soon after the Orthodox Christian Easter. He has to be diplomatic to the people in charge of the government, and anyway, he is a Christian man, who (hopefully) treats other people with love, not with judgment. This is why, maybe, he speaks well of the government. But his main concern is for the well being of his church.
