Zanaco  1-Green Buffaloes 0

Zanaco are back on top of the table, for at least 24 hours, when they beat local rivals Green Buffaloes at Sunset Stadium in a Lusaka derby today.

A 38th minute penalty converted by Jackson Chileshe secured the 3 points for Zanaco.

Zanaco lead the log on 34 points from 15 matches, two less than Zesco United who only play on Sunday at home against Lusaka Dynamos.


Roan United 2- Zamtel 1

Roan replaced Power Dynamos in 4th place after a 2-1 home win over Zamtel.

Derrick Kabwe and Arthur Kasoloki scored for Roan while Graven Chitalu was on target for Zamtel.

Kabwe Warriors    0  –  Power Dynamos 0

Mohamed Fathy’s first return to Railway grounds since departing to join Power Dynamos in January ended in a fair 0-0 result.


Red Arrows  1- Forest Rangers 1

Red Arrows made the Barclays Cup cut to finish in 8th place after a 1-1 draws at home that they secured thanks to a goal from midfielder Lawrence Pondani while Chomba Sikazwe found the back of the net for Forest.


City of Lusaka 2-Young Arrows 0

Young Arrows lost their second successive league game and their situation on the table is not improving where they lie second from bottom after their loss away today at Woodlands stadium to City of Lusaka.

Kennedy Chola and Geoffrey Nsama scored the important goals for City.

Nakambala Leopards 3-  Konkola Blades 1

Nakambala Leopards finally won their first league game of the season when they beat Konkola Blades 3-1  in Mazabuka today.

A brace from Dan Masumba and one goal from Nixon Chilundika handed bottom placed Nakambala the 3 points.

Chambishi 2-  Choma Eagles 1

Chipili Mungule and Edward Sinkala goal’s helped secure a crucial victory for Chambishi in their battle to avoid relegation.

Katongo Chanda scored for the visitors.

    looks like all it took was for supersport to start televising the matches and there u have it…

    good to see teams winning by atleast more than to goal and the team at the top with over 30 Points from 15 games

    way better than last season…:)

    last season..? ma-rubbish..!!
