East London beckons for the Zambia national team who will face Ghana there in an international friendly there at Brisbane Road on August 12.
Faz communications officer Erick Mwanza confirmed today that the two sides will play the match at the home of English League One side Leyton Orient.
Mwanza said camping details will be released before Friday for the London friendly date against the Black Stars.
Zambia will be using the match to prepare for their 2010 World/African Cup Group C qualifier against Algeria to be played on September 6 in Algiers.
Who is this Zambia national?, and is he going to take on the whole of Ghana singlehandedly?
That’s going to be a very real test for Zambia since both teamz are preparing for the World Cup qualification and away from home.
Ghana was supposed to be used to prepare for Rwanda. For the Arabs, we needed a team from the Middel East or North Africa (MENA). Otherwise whatever comes is always better than nothing. Now you should use Andrew Sinkala.
Really funny, #1. That is LT for you sometimes, LOL!!!!!!
They are just wasting money.
Ghana and Zambia have a very long brotherly relation ship. This is very good for both teams. We last met Ghana in SA and we wacked them 1:0 Remeber Joel Bwalya’s scotcher?
good stuff HH & Kalu
good stuff HR & Kalu
At least this is a team you can weigh yourselves on. Not tuma Clubs in South Africa.
Where can we get tickets?
Great news, at last worthy competition…..but still we need to fix the frontline. I can’t remember the last time Jacob Mulenga scored for Zed……James Chamanga can even miss a sitter at alpha…..Mbesuma is a total disaster and Christopher’s true age has now started to show. And now we are even crying for old finished players like Sinkala, we might as well bring back the Kampamba’s, Sichones, Emmanuel Zulus whilst we are at it …..iplus our current best player (Kalaba) is suspended, any good luck Zambia!
10* Lusaka 1
they will be available at the stadium
Kaya mukutamba am sure there will be tickets through the embasy
or maybe pa zambian uk something site
Nivi maningi bakamba
Were can we get the Tickets?
Its a good idea for zambia national team to play with Ghana, although their system of play is different with the arabs, but it is a better improvement than playing with small clubs in south africa.
I will definately go and support them win or lose. PLus I will publish staff for my website
We have now agreed to play Zambia in London,” Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi said.
“Only some few days ago we had Morocco in the picture but they had to withdraw because they were afraid they will lose.
“Teams are afraid to play the Black Stars because of the fear of losing their positions on the Fifa ranking.”
– BBC So Morocco was afraid of losing?
WHERE CAN I GET THE TICKET? I WILL FOR SURE WATCH IT BUT WHAT A STADIUM THEY HAVE CHOSEN.
Is Nyama soya coming?
I will definitely watch this match because it’s been a long time since i watched zambia national team live. The last time i watched zambia playing live, some angry fans were having a go at misfiring Denis Lota. They booed him everytime he touched the ball and they were shouting at him ati “iwe Denis waba akasafu nge fumo lya mpanya!” So i hope they will be no such characters like Gate “D” supporters in East London.
Welcome to london….we will be there..!
Dont worry about tickets. It will be free entry.
better than playing chiefs, pirates or royal zulu.
Great game will it be but don’t think of beating Ghana with our misfiring frontline. can the Musonda boys be given chance in the under 20 that will be going to UEA so we can see how they play. just imagine if they were Kalu’s kids?
ni Zambia yatu tonse and we should be given chance not ati pantu him na ba bali bandi r not in good books
#24-its not free.check uk zambians site. They have indicated £20.00 entry.tickets to be bought on entry
good training game for the chipolopolo.organise more quality games for the boys.
This money on plane tickets, allowances and accommodation could have been put to good use by buying RB an industrial pressing iron for that face of his. Pamenso monga bush meat! It’s time we just stopped this rubbish of football and concentrated on the economy, vi chule imwe! Otherwise good luck, I don’t care!
Ghana will win 2 goals to nile against zambia. Bet on it.
