The Authentic Advocates for Justice and Democracy (AAJD) says it is saddened by the sharp reactions being projected by the Catholic Church against Government Spokesperson Lt Gen Ronnie Shikapwasha.
AAJD Secretary General, Laiford Mwanza said his organization is disturbed that the Catholic Church would give such a sharp response to Gen Shikapwasha.
Mr Mwanza said what the church should have done was seek audience with Gen Shikapwasha if it felt aggrieved by his statement in parliament, instead of reacting harshly.
He reminded the Catholic Church that it was sinful to be angry in such a manner as to start calling a leader names like pig or any other unpalatable names.
Mr Mwanza said this in a press release made available to ZANIS in Lusaka.
He wondered why Fr Mwewa opted to throw the law of God to the wind and recklessly allow himself to speak like a non-believer.
He further wondered how people outside the church could show tolerance to government leaders if church leaders are showing such intolerance.
Mr Mwanza has since implored Fr Mwewa and the Catholic Church to unreservedly apologize to both government and Gen Shikapwasha for the unwarranted insults as reported in The Post Newspapers of August 11.
He said if Fr Mwewa was going to be stubborn and show no remorse for insulting Gen Shikapwasha, then the organization will justifiably doubt his humility before God whom he claims to serve.

This statement by the Authentic Advocates etc is what was already given by the fake pastor Dr Paul Mulenga of International Ministers Fellowship in Chipata this morning.
The statement contains the same message leading me to think that it was authored by the same person.
Can someone advise if thse two organisations are one and the same, as if so, then they are duplicating their work.
Also, how come these “Tuntemba” organisations are not condemning Shikapwasha for comparing the present conditions in Zambia to be ripe for genocide at the Rwandan level.

AAJD are useless organisation and it survival is brown envelops by corrupt govt and what AAJD has to remember Catholic church speaks for the voiceless and will not be bribed to circum to political pressure. These organisations like this are a cancer to the society and the justy society where every man is respected and treated with fearness. Let all those who claim to be christians really follow Jesus Christ’s example of observing the Holy Commandments as they are written in Exodus 20. Any justifying excuses of the Sabbath change from Saturday to Sunday simply shows that all non real Saturday Sabbath worship do not respect the Law of God following James 2:10.

Ba Mwanza be objective. First of all Fr. Mwewa is not equal to the Catholic Church. If you remember well, a Fr. Samasumo, who is official spokesperson of the Catholic Bishop’s Conference, said they would seek audience with Rev. Gen Shikas. What you are forgetting too is that Shikapwashya is also a REVEREND. You would do well too to remind him that what he said in his statement about the Catholics and Genocide was not “REVERENT”.

The word law throughout the bible corresponds with the hebrew word TORAH. The torah is actually 613 laws which include the commandments. Funny how some self righteous hypocrites think the law is just the commandments when the hebrew word MITZVOT. I wonder if the same self righteous clowns that think they keep the law(torah) even obey the high sabbaths(appointed feasts). I wonder what Rwandese would say about this whole circus. The catholics do not run Govt. Shika and others do. Now they have failed to and have started calling and looking for an excuse for failure. Diverting attention will not help them. Justice and peace are a hallmark for the catholics. When catholics press Govt to provide for its people and not steal from the people, Shika wants to call it “inciting genocide.” No, Shika is the one who can do that . Remember he is a former army commander and has acces to it to influence such. He is too hungry for power.
