  1. The burial will be preceded by a church service in Lusaka, at the cathedral of the holy cross this morning: DID THIS MAN KNOW GOD? ANY WAY OUR RELATIONS WITH GOD ARE PERSONAL

  2. Take him to church or not, if the i d i o t was evil as he was, it won`t change a thing. Bushe abena Zambia mwabashani kanshi? It won`t change the fact that he is there where it`s hot! Amigo!

  3. Milestone: Ben Teta died at 53 on Sartuday 5th July 2009 at UTH. He did his Primary education in Solwezi and Secondary School at Mwinilunga Sec Sch. Went to ZNS for then compulsory Military training. Worked for Workers Compensetion Board, later North Western Province Co-operative Union . After defunct of NWPCU, he joined politics and was founder memeber of National Party. Later he joined UPND was its 1st Secretary General. He contested Solwezi West seat which he won on UPND ticket. Coz of Kaonde, mentality, “MUzungu wabula Kadjo Kumuseleza Ne” Dont work for a master with nothing to benefit from” He defected to MMD together with James Katoka of Mwinilunga East and contest on MMD ticket and won. in 2006 He won Solwezi Central on MMD. In politics Teta was hard working and contraversial

  4. Teta has left a big Political Gap in NorthWestern, He was the only MP from N/Western who could speak without fear or favour and this earned him friends and enemies. It will take time to have a politician of Teta’s caliber to image from N/Western. On the national front, at the time MMD NEC & GRZ could not shade light on the health of late Levy, Teta stood up and said that there was need to choose someone to act in place of LPM. This drew reaction from a wide spectrum of pipo, some for whilst other were against. When it came to choose MMD candidate Teta opted for RB and was supported by Mike Mulo and others followed suit. He aggressively campaigned for RB. RB appointed him LGH Minister the position he held until his demise. He has left several children and dependants and wife from Eastern

  5. Teta was a mess please close the chapter. He divorced the wife for another mawole in Lusaka now he can’t even have a funeral at his house because its very dirty the funeral is at the sister’s place and he differed with his sister almost every time. Not even his house was in order its really sad because that woman will only remain in shit.

  6. Blimey! Teta has left a gap? I bet it is the usual “big gap which will be difficult to fill”. Why don`t Africans learn? No wonder africa is “void”! lol!

  7. May he rest in peace. However the man said so much nonsense and castigated so many people. I bet RB doesn’t even care. Mike Mulongoti should be careful as he will be next. I’m sorry but I can’t start saying nice things about someone because they are dead. The man really spoke codswollop at times. However he has a family and they are grieveing.

  8. ba ben. may your soul rest in peace you have been a voice for the poor and MMD will miss you like Us zambians.
    you are a hero

  9. In business Teta has left some ventures in N/Western and Mansa Milling. It will be interesting that Teta will be the first senior GRZ official to ride the infamous Hearses. Teta to on his political opponets HEAD ON. He always stood for what he said. Ask Katele Kalumba, Silyy Masebo, Micheal Mabenga, Richard Kapita. During campaigns in 2006, he used to dish out cash to his supporters. he was simply a Father Xmas. Whilst his opponets sought votes from elite, he concentratred on villagers and the final result was in his favour. Teta will be missed as political factor in N/Western and indeed MMD circles. He was a great family man, friend to all. Unlike late Mushala who took up arms against KK, Teta used his brain and spoke out fearlessly. Will Miss u for ever. Bye Mbai, Yaya Wawa Mwisho .RIP

  10. FACT: THE MAN DIED 1 YEAR AFTER LEVY’ S DEATH….2 DAYS AFTER LEVY BURIAL ANNIVERSARY/// KAMA: WAT GOES ROUND COMES ROUND…

  11. Whatever negative comments are being made on late Teta, the man was a national leader non tribalist. Pipo should be above petty jealous. You dont amke silly comments on the departed ones. In one way or another they had alot of responsibilities to shoulder as politician and family man. CAUTION. I just hope those guys from Matebo will not invoke KIKONDO during the funeral procession in Solwezi. Warning to pall bearers. What is the status of one Misheck Bonshe. I urge all Lundas, Luvales, Chokwes etc to mourn the man the Kadan’gu traditional way. He deserves a dignified send off. Please abena Matebo, ensure no KIKONDO, the mans death was natural, no foul play. Those he used to differ with were not personal enemies but just political opponets or had simply different views. Baya ba weme baya.

  12. So death turns villains into heroes! The fact is the i d i o t was a villain and no word said on earth will change that. He kicked the bucket. Family man or not, if you are an i d i o t you are an i d i o t! This ka Teta was one.

  13. I agree with 19; spare Teta those silly comments as in 20. if you continue it means you’re an ***** yourself, chapwa. Weshiluwe!

  14. Enough about this man, perhaps my very last words about this man is Why fly him, let the 4×4 do the job.It would have been a dramatic way of using the hese, ars…line up all the 100 vans up to Solwezi after the burial sent them back to china for exchange with reasonable machinery.

Ala mukwayi Pafwa bantu pashala bantu…..More important people have died before.

  15. rest in peace. why pa zed pali theater like this? less than a month a go teta was called different sorts of names but now that he is gone, he has become a very good man. why not praise someone while still alive? is it coz we know that watever we say after his death will change nothing for he hears nothing? God help us to b faithful.

  16. I agree with 19; spare Teta those silly comments as in 20. if you continue it means niwe munshumfwa uwaile namashinshi kubuko. Weshiluwe!

  17. WHEN YOU VOTE FOR ME I TELL YOU THINKS WILL CHANGE. LONG LIVE THINK TANK I WILL OST MY DETAILS LATER BUT FIRSTLY YOU NEED TO B-LIVE IN ME. PLIZ SEND YO COMMENT

  18. It is folly to be wise in a country where mediocrity is rampant. Yes, we can! if we do not let people in high offices abuse a poor country’s resources by globe-trotting.

  19. Ala! Imwe! why didn’t they use those hearses they bought to bring him to Solwezi? Those things were bought for who?

  20. Enough is enough! He is gone and it won’t help to say all rubbish words to some one who has passed on. Besides, the Bible says ” No one is righteous”. But he did his best and all the saying won’t change nothing.

  21. I used to enjoy coming to this site to see what was going on in the country but these days…If you people have nothing better to say it’s best to keep quiet, christians are supposed to be building one another and though ‘we’ never liked mr teta we should at least respect his family regardless of the mistakes he made. We are only human after all and none of us is righteous but we are the first to point a finger and condemn others especially those who are unable to defend themselves. @ this time we should be focusing on comforting and encouraging this man’s family and loved ones, anyway a country isn’t christian simply by politicians saying so. Grow up people I’m sure if you were not hiding behind those fake names you use here most of you wouldn’t have the courage to say what…

  22. Teta you where a friend to all and a courageuos man who spoke for the unjust and never feared to challege other party members.May our good lord grant your soul internal rest and let perpetual light shine upon you.Till we meet again in the lord. Teta you where a friend to all and a courageuos man who spoke for the unjust and never feared to challege other party members.May our good lord grant your soul internal rest and let perpetual light shine upon you.Till we meet again in the lord.

Rest in peace greatly missed by all.
