Act on Your Dream Today

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Write the vision [dream] and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”
(Habakkuk 2:2, NKJV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Have you ever known someone who had an exciting dream to do something great but did nothing to make it happen? It’s so important to act on the dreams that God has given you. You can take ownership of your dreams by planning and preparing for them. Remember, success is not accidental. Where do you see yourself in your career, finances or relationships? Put some action behind what you’re believing for. Maybe you don’t see how it can happen in the natural. The good news is you don’t have to have it all figured out. With your faith and obedience, God will work supernaturally in your situation to turn things around for good.

Believe in your dreams today. I encourage you to write down your short and long-range goals. Keep them in front of you so you will stay focused. When you make a move, God will direct your steps. He’ll make sure you come across the right people, at the right time. God will give you wisdom, insight and favor as you take steps to bring your dreams to pass.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

“Heavenly Father, thank You for the dreams You have given me. Today I will take steps toward seeing them come to pass. Help me to set goals and map out steps for victory so that I know where I’m going and how to accomplish my dreams. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

  1. While ! I like this, coz many are the times most of us have tried to climb the stairs cases of our dreams just to give up reaching the top at the second last case.Indeed it is nice not to stop believing in our dreams.Amen

  2. Where there is a will there is a way. God is the provider. We can only ask Him and the door shall be opened. Remember when one door is closed, many more are open. Make your choices wisely today! Amen

  3. They say that opportunity usually knocks once.
I have therefore a philosophy to keep my door open, always,so opportunity can just walk in!

  4. Many are the times when opportunitiescome by and we are too occupied with other things (like blogging) to notice. It pays to take some time off and meditate for a while.

  5. Messages now are about “me, myself, and i”.It is now love yourself and forget your neighbor. The preachers and the rappers are saying virtually the same thing, ?get rich or die trying?.

  6. Even as we endeavouor to act on our dreams and even as we write our visions and run with them ,let us not forget the greatest commission of evangelism as well as not forgetting the poor and the widows amongst for this is true religion. so many christians have amassed wealth which they are not sharing with those who have nothing. The rich in our congregations are using their wealth to have front seats in church.
