Regular Pro Dropped?

Share

While Herve Renard has recalled Collins Mbesuma and Isaac Chansa, there is a surprise omission from the team ahead of the game against Egypt on October 10 in Chililabombwe.

Defender Kampamba Chintu of Amazulu of South Africa has been omitted from the provisional list of foreign based players to face the Egyptian champions.

Chintu has been a regular feature in the team for Zambia for the last three years when he returned to the fold under Patrick Phiri after an 7-year hiatus to the team.

Meanwhile, of the recent foreign-based call-ups yet to play under Renard and were named for the ill-fated friendly game against Ghana in London on August 12, only Andrew Sinkala has been retained.

Kennedy Mweene (Free State Stars, South Africa), Kalilo Kakonje (Amazulu, South Africa)

Defenders: Emmanuel Mbola (Pyunik Yerevan, Arminia), Joseph Musonda (Golden Arrows)

Midfielder: Rainford Kalaba (Sporting Braga, Portugal), William Njobvu (Hapoel Kiryat Shmone, Israel, Isaac Chansa (Helsingborg, Sweden), Jonah Sakuwaha (Lorient, France), Andrew Sinkala (Augsburg, Germany), Noah Chivuta (Maritzburg United South Africa)

Strikers: James Chamanga (Dalian Haichang, China), Jacob Mulenga FC Utrecht, Netherlands), Collins Mbesuma (Moroka Swallows, South Africa), Christopher Katongo (Armenia Bielefled, Germany), Given Singuluma (TP Mazembe, DR Congo), Emmanuel Mayuka (Maccabi Tel Aviv, Israel)

  1. Just yesterday Mbesuma was called all sort of names. Lelo mwamubwelela!!! A coach needs to have faith in his players and narture and build them. support them in thrie hour of need. Look at fergie and owen when everyone had counted him out he had faith in him and today he is able to do wonders for man-u. This coach does not need to go with the wind. Mbesuma failed to convert the penalty but he wasnt that bad. You kill some one’s self esteem and when they recover you go for them again. We desreve better in the national coaching department,

  3. IT’S NOT TRUE. HE IS ON THE OFFICIAL LIST RELEASED BY FAZ.
LT SHOULD HAVE VERIFIED BEFORE POSTING. THE TEAM GOES INTO CAMP ON OCTOBER 5

  4. Hey guys no wander its called a game which involves the use of  A GAME PLAN to try to get the positive results and i believe the coach is just trying to do that,
               GO ZAMABIA GO

  5. This Harve Renard should learn to talk less and concentrate on what he waz employed to do. With scanty good rezults and a string of major defeats, it won’t do to engange the media on what a professional coach HR is. The fanz will not alwayz say good thingz to/about him, but the best iz to show humility and respect for the Zambianz.

  6. its too late anywhere,we wont even make it to the africa cup, beating egypt?ha not with such manager,it hurts me to know we are downed by incompetance of management, you got a dog race,a horse race,a human race, but this is a disgrace.

  7. @ShiMaster you cant compare the legend Michael Owen with Mbesuma or Sir Alex with HR and Man United with Zambia. You cant manage club football club like a national team. HR is trying to manage Zambia national team like a soccer club. I think I am just worsting my time explaining the difference between the two. Have a lovely weekend
