Kenneth Malitoli had the last laugh today at Independence Stadium in Kalulushi when his former club Nkana came to visit.
Kalulushi Modern Stars were not overawed after watching 10-man Nkana blow-away Mufulira Wanderers last week and today beat Nkana 1-0.
It was sweet revenge for Malitoli whose team was beaten 2-0 by Nkana in the first leg meeting in Kitwe on May 10.
Meanwhile, Nkana’s defeat sees the lead at the top of the Faz Division 1 North table from two to one point while standing still on 48 points.
Nchanga Rangers stay second but shift from 46 to 47 points after drawing 0-0 on Saturday at home in Chingola against Lime Hotspurs.
Joining Nchanga on 47 points are Wanderers who recovered from their 2-1 away loss in the Super Classico against Nkana last weekend to beat visiting Ndola United by the same margin.

First me first think about what to write
We might see the return of Kalampa, Ine Nakondwela.
umulilo wa aka. Go Nkana!
lusakatimes thanks for the div 1 north results ,what about div 1 south?
Go Kalampa Go.Kalulushi have always given us hard times especially that most of the players were at Nkana and they are trying to prove a point as to why they were not regular players.Nevertheless, we have seven games to go and this is not the time to underate teams.
Ba Fewdays can you change the training schedule to twice each day for the remaining games.Ba Stone and Kaseko, organise lunch for the players to resume training twice daily. We cannot afford to let the league slip through our fingers……..
Go Brave Rangerz goal. Avoid theze unnecessary drawz, especially at home, they will prove costly in the long run and make us kiss dust.
Go Mighty Go for the top slot. It is almost open now. Any body can claim it. Mighty iwina chungulo!!!!
Mighty and Nkana are Zambia! Since Mighty and Nkana went under, Zambia as a nation went under and still is under!!!! Lets bring these clubs to Preminer and u will see!!!
The league for division 1 north is very close…all the top 6 teams have chances of winning promotion to the super league. Let’s wait and see
ba nkana, this is not the time to lose point like that, the worst resut 4 u must be a draw not a lose, careful u might not play premier next year.
Putya 8, I agree with you, the performance @ national team will be below par until these Giants start contributing the great players calibre of Charles Musonda, Effort, Gentile, Libya, Jericho Shinde,Jack Chanda,Johnstone Bwalya not ayamakula Jacob Mulenga
