Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) Director General Mabel Mung’omba has challenged the youths of Western province to help attain the vision 2030 of making Zambia a middle income country.
Mrs. Mung’omba said since youths are the country’s vision carriers, they should venture into enterprising activities to enhance economic growth in the country.She said CEEC aims at empowering the youths in the country by giving loans and support in establishing businesses.
Mrs. Mung’omba urged the youths to utilize the adequate natural resources that the province has to earn a living and change the economic status of the Western Province.
She further commended SNV and other cooperating partners in the province for organizing workshop aimed at building people’s capacity.
Mrs. Mung’omba said this in Mongu yesterday when she closed a five day business skills development workshop whose theme was empowering youths through skills development.
