  2. # 1 ” On Zambia’s last visit to the continent in 1999, they lost 7-1 to Honduras in another friendly match” i think that is self explanatory, English dont come easier than that.

  3. #1… last subject was Chile.. hence on that visit, zambia could have been siting in the stands watching as Honduras massacred Chile 7 -1 … chikuwa cashupa….!

  4. Hey,bloggers discuss something that is more reasonable than history of who won. We want the ‘now’ issues.

    Singuluma will score.

  5. Chile are second best in South America. If they field their best players which they probably will becasue it is their last game in South America they will murder the Zambians. This is a joke .

Anyone that believes Zambia will win are jokes themselves.

  6. #8julio,
Ala kwena wansekesha mune nembafu shalemana kunseko.well lets not look at the historical bashing of Zambia in 1999,so many things could have gone wrong.they guys can pull up a surprise like the Cape Verde Islands did with Portugal ending goal less.lets support our team.Chipolopolo iyeeee!!!

  7. Zambia has been consistently improving over the past few years. Make no mistake about it. They were are strong team in Angola, not because Renard was coach, but because these boys have been growing up together. We just need to nurture our players. It is not enough to just grow, therefore we should help them mature by building confidence and cheering them on. If you listen to Kalu’s comments you will notice that he knows we can do it, we are just not confident enough.

If not mistaken, I believe the climate should be similar to that of Zambia. Lets support our boys in spirit and in prayer. They can do it and they will so do it. I am confident that they will. Chipolopolo Boys All the Way!!

South American rivals Chile and Uruguay both enjoyed comfortable friendly victories over Zambia and Israel respectively on Wednesday.

Marcelo Bielsa’s Chile, who are grouped with Spain, Honduras and Switzerland at the World Cup next month, started slowly but made a second-half improvement through two of their star players to beat Zambia 3-0.

Young winger Alexis Sanchez, starting from the bench for a change, made the breakthrough in the 52nd minute. With the African minnows’ goal breached, Sanchez eventually made it 2-0 six minutes from time before, two minutes later, former captain Jorge Valdivia put further gloss on the scoreline.
