Faz has denied Zambia will face Zimbabwe next month in an international friendly match.
This is despite reports in the Zimbabwean press that the Brave Warriors will travel to Lusaka to face Zambia in mid-November.
Faz has denied that they have spoken to Zifa over a proposed friendly match on November 17 which is a FIFA international match date.
However, Faz have revealed that they are currently trying to arrange a friendly for the team elsewhere.
HERVE RENARD FOR ASEC?
Ex-Zambia coach Herve Renard is reportedly on the verge of signing on as coach of Cote D’Ivoire league champions Asec Mimosa.
According to media sources in Abidjan, Renard is due to take over from Maxime Gouamené.
No details on terms are known.
Renard recently quit as Angola coach just six months into a lucrative two-year deal.
Renard is now galivanting in West Africa? Why did he resign from Angola. All this after saying that after coaching Zambia he wanted a better Challenge elsewhere. A club now is his challenge? Hmm interestring! i’m sure he’s missing it here.
