Police in Chongwe District have arrested a physically challenged man of Miyoba Linshimbi Village for allegedly defiling a 6 year old girl of the same village over the weekend.
Miyoba Linshimbi Village Neighbourhood Watch Committee Chairperson, Elias Banda confirmed the arrest to ZANIS in Chongwe and named the man as Michael Banda aged 21.
Mr. Banda said the man was apprehended over the weekend by the Neighbourhood Watch Committee after receiving the report from the minor’s family.
And sources at Chongwe District Police Station have confirmed the arrest and referred all queries to police spokesperson in Lusaka.
The sources at Chongwe District Police Station have however said the man will appear in court soon.
This is the first defilement case the district has recorded this year.

Sex is a human right which no matter how you do it must be accessed. And as I said earlier, the Government and interest groups are currently not doing enough. Having a disability can sometimes make it harder to find a sexual partner. And sadly, few people would imagine anyone with a disability as a possible partner. Comment 5, you may be too young to understand issues. For you, its enough to live and get what you ant out of life. Others dont matter.
1 and 2, what exactly are your proposing? There can be no justification for this guy’s act, handicapped or not. For you to propose that it should the role of the government or policy makers to look at ways of satisfying the carnal needs of the disabled is just plain ridiculous. What of the other disadvantaged or marginalised groups?

my friend. What does handicapped mean? Physically challenged implies that that someone is able to do things but due to their condition, they do them in a challenging manner. Handicapped on the other hand is the same as disabled and you may wish to know that only dead people are disabled because they are not able to do anything.
