Economic Association of Zambia (EAZ) President Noel Nkhoma has resigned from his position with immediate effect.
Mr Nkhoma announced his resignation today during a press briefing held at Blue Nile Lodge in Lusaka saying he had decided to resign from the association to pursue a private life.
He said the EAZ presidency is so demanding that after his reflection of recent past developments, and consultations with his family, he decided that it is time that he pursue a private life.
He stated that the decision to step down was purely on principal and that under no circumstances should it be considered as an admission of wrong doing or otherwise on matters involving his immediate past engagement as Executive Director of Finance Bank Zambia Limited.
Mr Nkhoma further disclosed that his ascendancy to the EAZ Presidency was not as a consequence of his employment with FBZ.
He further said that the presidency of the EAZ was a very serious undertaking and his involvement with the association for the past 10 years had been a rewarding and educative experience considering the achievements that the organisation scored.
Mr Nkhoma said, as per EAZ constitution, the Vice President Isaac Ngoma will assume the presidency adding that he was confident that Mr Ngoma together with the current Executive Board would perform to expectations of the Zambian people.
He thanked Government and cooperating partners and other stakeholders for the support rendered to him during hi tenure of office.

noel is only good at gossip and screwing his friends wives. He is talented with a good weapon and married women who dont get faction from husbands fall prey to noel. He is good in bed at least a couple of respectable women I know have confessed.

Lady gaga, Noel has always been one of those dark-skinned looking brothers, the hail-from-Mali type but he has swagger, a sweet tongue and deep pockets. That’s why he has a chain of follwers.

Lady gaga, its Not Noel to blame but the ladies who follow him. Ladies (most especially in Lusaka) like pipo like Noel who have money to spend. Surprisingly even ladies in well paid jobs lower themselves. I am shocked that Married ladies do that. At least single ones but married!!

Anyway Nkhoma has done a honourable thing to relinquish his EAZ post..We can only wish him the best but at least he wont suffer like the some of us!!
