MMD has lost credibilit

Share

The United Party for National development (UPND) has charged that President Rupiah Banda’s regime has lost credibility in the eyes of Zambians and that no amount of damage control will change that perception.

Commenting on the formation of the MMD taskforce in Lusaka province aimed at winning support for President Banda ahead of the forthcoming tripartite elections, UPND Spokesperson Charles Kakoma described the idea of the taskforce as an exercise in futility.

Mr. Kakoma told Qfm that the formation of the MMD task force will not change the people’s perception of the MMD.
He says people are tired of the inefficiency of the MMD government and that nothing will stop Zambians from effecting the change of regime in this year’s elections.

And Mr. Kakoma has accused the MMD of using people purporting to be former high ranking UPND members in order to win support.

He says such political gimmicks will not work as the UPND is getting stronger every time the MMD announce fake defections.

  1. Let’s hope you don’t jump on the band wagon and do a “Mulongoti” and start praising the same party that you say has lost credibility! Better still; tell us what you are going to do and how you are going to do it! Not what you don’t want not to do as they did it!

  2. Despite having poor political judgement, Kakoma’s observation on MMD losing credibility if at they had any is correct.
Only PF the largest opposition party can bring the badly wanted change. Small parties like UPND are just there to split votes, and no matter what they will do,UPND will come third.
Vote SATA and PF if you want change.

  3. The key secret in politics is timing. UPND, with all its Ba Educated-intellectuals failed to read the political atmosphere. No they seem to be condemning a mere campaign strategy of their oponents. What is wrong with MMD forming a campaign task force if that they way it feels will help win? #1, what is it that UPND has exposed here, or is it just blind loyalty at play? Should other political parties condemn UPND’s campaign strategy of going door-to-door “aimed at winning support for HH ahead of the forthcoming tripartite elections”

  4. Pot-kettle-black comes to mind. Any decent human being knows that its UPND thats losing popularity even faster than MMD because they are ”chimbwi no plan” outside choma and Monze.

  5. forget HH you think you can win am (ILA) myself i see SATA winning maybe 2016 not this time around no agenda for UPND so far so quiet campaigning you dont even hear from HH waht a leader shame!!!! PF next goverment!!!!!!!!!!

  6. # 8 “Vote for HH”!? When the writing iz very clear on the wall that HH cannot win against RB even if he waz the only oppozition candidate to stand against him.

  7. HH for president. We shall vote for a credible, knowledgable and wise young leader coz the whole world is moving in this direction. Your message is working very well HH.

  8. HH is the man for this years elections and i urge all those who are serious in seeing Zambia develop to elect president HH. Do not be swayed by those who always fake their popularity yet they do not win even with every assistance from vuvuzela’s.

  9. DON’T LET P.F KAPONYAS CLOUD YOUR JUDGMENT….LET SATA SHOW HIS PHD’s!

RECYCLED POLITICIANS LIKE SATA AND RUPIAH CANNOT BRING CHANGE…..SATA CAN’T EVEN INFORM THE PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA WHAT $27,000US WAS DOING STASHED IN HIS POSSESSION AT TEMBO AIRPORT IN SOUTH AFRICA.

RUPIAH CAN’T RUN A CAMPAIGN WITHOUT CHINESE FINANCES AND BOOT LICKING CHIEFS…..THEN THERE IS THE CHILUBA ISSUE!

BOTH ARE NOT FIT TO RUN ZAMBIA FROM THIS YEAR….NEW IDEAS ARE NEEDED AND THE PEOPLE NEED TO VOTE FOR UPND AND NOT PARTY JUMPING RECYCLED PEOPLE FROM THE PAST WHO ARE STILL FACING COURT CASES.

A FRESH CHANGE IS NEEDED….LEARN THE LESSONS FROM THE PAST AND DONT MAKE MISTAKES LIKE SATA AND RUPIAH HAPPEN AGAIN.
