Wesley Mondo Says He is Staying at Rollers

Wesley Mondo has dismissed speculation that he has left Township Rollers after winning the league title with the Botswana club.

Mondo was on Saturday crowned Botswana coach of the year after leading Rollers to the league title they retained in his first season in charge.

“That is not true and I am still at Rollers,” Mondo said today.

There is rumors swirling in Botswana that Mondo is quitting Rollers after just one  season.

However, Mondo added that he was heading back for pre-season training next month and meet with the executive to plan for the coming season.

Mondo joined the Botswana record league champions last year in July after earlier coaching Centre Chiefs whom he joined from Lusaka Dynamos.
