Zambia will face Zimbabwe in an international friendly next month.
Both Faz and Zifa confirmed the friendly match that will be played in Harare on August 10 after agreeing to the game on June 30.
“They (Zambia) are coming to Harare on August 10. We have confirmed that and they will just put something in writing for us,”Zifa chief executive officer Jonathan Mashingaidze told Zimbabwean newspaper Newsday on Thursday.
“We had targeted Malawi, but they seemed to dither, but we had to plan ahead and now we have Zambia.”
Zimbabwe and Zambia will be using the game as warm-up for their 2012 World Cup group qualifying matches against Liberia and Comoros at home and away respectively on September 4.
