Sata is a dictator – PF MPs

Share

PF leader Michael Sata

Patriotic Front (PF) president Michael Sata’s dictatorial tendencies and the MMD’s good performance are the major reasons for the mass exodus of PF members to the ruling MMD, two PF MPs have said.

Kamfinsa MP Michael Nyirenda and Kalulushi MP Anson Simama said in separate interviews that the MMD has attended to most of the matters the PF intends to use as campaign issues.

Mr Nyirenda and Mr Simama said PF members are leaving the party because of Mr Sata’s dictatorial tendencies and greed.

“There is dictatorship in the PF. Mr Sata’s dictatorial tendencies and greed is the reason why people are shying away from the PF. Mr Sata cannot even entertain different views, it is a one-man-show,” Mr Simama said.

Mr Nyirenda also said PF members are joining the MMD because the ruling party is already addressing the issues that the PF is promising to put in its campaign messages.

“People are also leaving PF because of the inconsistency of top leaders on national issues. We are always attacking Government instead of compromising. We are one people so why should we fight?” Mr Nyirenda asked.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Chibuye reports that Mufulira member of Parliament Marjory Mwape says the PF is the most disorganised party which only exists at executive level.

Ms. Mwape, who ditched the PF for the MMD on July 11, said in an interview in Lusaka yesterday that the disorganisation of the party’s lower organs has made it difficult for the party to work effectively.

Ms. Mwape disclosed that most PF executive members are confused by the way the party is being managed because the misunderstandings at the lower organs have made it difficult for the party to succeed in its programmes.

She pointed out that most aspiring candidates in the PF are not development-oriented but want to ride on PF president Michael Sata’s perceived popularity to become members of Parliament.

Ms. Mwape said in her resignation letter obtained by the Zambia Daily Mail in Lusaka yesterday that her stay in the party was characterised by mixed approaches and emotions including expulsion, hostility, reconciliation and tolerance.

The letter was addressed to PF secretary general Wynter Kabimba, indicating her official resignation from the party.

She said she has joined the MMD because it is her belief she will serve Zambians better under the ruling party.

“Man is the architect of his own destiny. I proudly made this bold decision and I am convinced that this is my path to destiny,” Ms Mwape said, as she endorsed President Banda’s candidature.

Meanwhile, TEDDY KUYELA reports that the MMD has welcomed the resignation of Ms Mwape from the opposition to join the ruling party.

MMD deputy national secretary Chembe Nyangu said in Lusaka yesterday that the resignation of Ms Mwape from the opposition is an indication that the MMD is a progressive party which has shown commitment to developing the country.

Mr Nyangu said the MMD is happy that more people from the opposition are defecting to the ruling party because of the good leadership of President Banda.

“The MMD will continue welcoming people from the opposition because we are an attractive party. What Ms Mwape has done is commendable. She knows that only government can execute development projects.

“We want to advise other MPs from the opposition who have seen what President Banda is doing to join the ruling party so that they can work with us to enhance development,” Mr Nyangu said.

  1. Only a fo0l doesnt know that Zondwa from Tanzania is a dictator. I cant wait for the election results to be announced so that I can enjoy the anguish on the faces of the Patriotic F00ls.

  2. When did you realise Sata is a dictator? Sata was, is and will always be a dictator. PF is a one man show. All PF supporters talk about is Sata. In that Party Sata’s ramblings are taken as gospel truth. If today Sata says instead of 90 days, he will actually accomplish everything in 90 seconds his supporters will believe him!

  3. 8 PF MPs are yet to join MMD, no normal person can work with Satan, the ***** listens to no one. Even the just ended convention was not democratic, there was not ballot which was cast.

  4. The Post is equally not credible. They only cover supporters of PF. At one time Shakafuswa, Magande used to be featured on frontpage. What happened when they chose not to support Serpent. So to call Daily Mail names is just silly unless you equally despise The Post!

  5. Ba LT what u omitted to mention is that these 2 ceased to be PF mps long time ago. They were expelled. But of course i would be asking too much to expect u to acknowledge that.

  6. The Post is privately owned and funded from the pockets of the owner. He decides what and who is news worthy. Daily is public funded. Only dull people don’t know how private media operates. Daily Mail, ZNBC, Times of Zambia are not MMD owned Your Dullness, I mean your Highness. Please differentiate. Every Zambian has a stake in the public media, pulizi.

  7. No one is resigning from PF. These are all expelled MPs who have survived in politics because the courts feared to embarrass MMD losing by elections. They ceased being PF members years ago. So, dream on cadres.

  8. Sour grapes all these are PF “rebel”MPs what do you expect? They will never be adopted on MMD ticket or even if they’re they cannot beat PF on the CB. Mulifiwelewele fye!!!!

  9. I cant believe what is coming from the dirty mouths of Nyirenda and Simama. The chaps have been rebels and all along been PF MPs serving under Sata’s leadership and today they are turning around name calling. Does it mean all along they never knew that Sata was a dictator. The chaps have just gone in political wilderness. They thought MMD will adopt them as parlimentary candidates yet there sre guys who have been holding MMD together on Copperbelt. Its time to show those who think they are more wiser than others that its impossible to grow hair on an egg.

  10. @8@9@10. So SATA is not a dictator? Even Masebo and Mangani know he is. Just because they have no where to go

  11. Liers ba LT, those are rebel MP’s & that’s not the reason Ms Mwape gave for her joining MMD.
Your article is different from other sources, please give us something else PF is receiving Buffaloes not the rabbits who were expelled.

  12. Only a foo’lish MP in his right sense of mind and in good standing with the party on the Copperbelt will leave PF to Join another party, coz ni pamaka ‘DONCHI KUBEBA. Coming to the 3 MPs, these bafoons attended the failed Joji Coonder (GK) NCC, and were expelled from our party a very long time ago. They know pretty well they will not be adopted or even shortlisted for adoption. I feel sorry for this Nyirenda chap from Ndeke Village in Kitwe coz he’s going back to drinking Chibuku now.

  13. #12, One is dubbed a dictator when they are a leader of a nation. Mention two or three dictators that you know that were picked from a street and are called dictators when them too can be fired, arrested, denied entry, and/or are not in power. Dictators have absolute power and use state machinery to control and rule others and nations. Sata has never led any nation on the face of this earth. So, calling him a dictator is utter nonsense and absolute foolishness. So, stop the rotten nonsense.

  14. Whether those MPs we expelled or not, they have a lot of royal supporters who will leave PF with them.
And the MPs and people joining PF are not credible too, Masebo is sleeping with Malupenga and has been leaking MMD information, plus she is not just a human prostitute, she is a political prostitute too. she moved from MMD to FDD to MMD and now PF.

Mpombo, Panji and Mulongoti are as useless as they have always been. Mangani is not a factor because Chipata is the last place PF can win.

  15. #17 mWABA. I think now you are having ingulu. Who told you those people have loyal supporters? Why do you think they had to lean against the courts for the all entire term? Why do you think they were afraid to re-face the electorates? Misapa left MMD, why do you think he did not fear to re-contest on PF?

  16. Zambia needs a strong leader unlike RBish who is always travelling here, there and everywhere.
A weak leader is a recipe for disaster that’s why mmd has fallen apart.

  17. No.17 Mwaba – I would take it you’re dreaming and halluciniating. These 3 monkeys are I indicated earlier on that only a foo’lish MP will leave the PF on the Copperbelt if there in good standing with the party and could be adopted. MMD will get Zero votes this year on the Copperbelt is a no go area for MMD, i bet you ask Dora Sility on this

  18. Marjory Mwape, It is your democratic right to belong to a party of your choice. All the best in the outgoing party (MMD) in govt

  19. Kalos my man ifwe nipamaka, these expelled MPs were only saved by MMD through abuse of the courts everyone knows. Ichitu chitu umwene Pabwato. MMD cadres they are now like movement of Mad dogs possessed by rabbies making loud sound like ifimbwi naba mumbwe uuuuuuu bwabwabwabwa. Change is here. These are the same Rebel MPs who wanted to reconcil with we the people. We said no go and rot in the Movement of the Mad dogs.

  20. All christians who love and fear God can’t vote for mr. sata because the old man worships a snake God and not our Jesus Christ. He is a satanist that is why he desires to remove the declaration of Zambia as aChristian nation from the constitution and make it a circular state. He supports homos and this is abomination according to the bible. PF is a party of men and women full of insults, violence and lies. RB continues and in 2016 a young man takes over because old RB and MS shall be tired. Christians vote RB to teach the king cobra satanist a lesson.

  21. All other parties are talking about what “they” will do if elected into government. In PF, it is what Sata will do within 90 days if elected. Interesting! If the private media is allowed to write nonsense from an individual just because he owns it, does that make it credible? Those who don’t to hear anything negative about Sata should restrict themselves to reading The Post Newspaper and The Post Online. You will not lose your tempers or sleep if you did that, since Sata in that paper is God.

  22. voting this man into power is an act of desperation cozd by mmd.that party is f.ucked up and LUSAKATIMES IS BIASED why are u praising mmd on most of ur posts and post irrelevant info against pf,y shud suspended members defecting 2 mmd be news.atleat 6/10 of ur posts always discredit pf.be objective, dnt be like dailymail, znbc and post.gtfoh

  23. sosa sosa chalo chilekumfwa ,All you Rebel MP’s will regreat like Nawakwi and Chongwe who campaigned for RB in 2008 and got no reward except for Preacher Man Mumba.

  24. What English language, is this? Is it night school learnt English or what? Since when did mass exodus mean two people leaving a political party or indeed any orgnisation because they are not the prefered candidates became mass exodus? You cant refer to, two or a handful of people leaving as mass exodus. This is the problem of sensational journalism. Its used to excite poeple over nothing. Its the other way round. People are leaving their parties to join PF.

  25. Kalos2121 & kapoma kabaso

You talk a lot of sense, but don’t waste your breath some fools will never ever learn???
Just ask them what mass exodus and dictatorship means…
Some of the MMD rants are baseless …
As for the HH support it is very tribal
    1 Zambia 1 nation

  26. Wa PF Wa UPND wanya matuvi – MMD landslide – just vote MMD to avoid embarrassment of looking like bloody *****s.

  27. WHETHER A DICTATOR OR DEMOCTATOR, WE LL VOTE FOR HIM.HE IS GOING TO STANGO HOUSE.INSANSA KUCHINJANA

  28. Some people here are asking as to when these PF resingnees discovered that SATA is a dictator. The answer is simple, the knew long time ago. They hoped he would chance and gave him benefit of doubt like the land lord to Mangani. But the man has refued to change and this coupled with his huge loss of popularity lives no meaning for any reasonable politician to remain in PF. So their sentments are timely.

  29. I need the chief justice to rule if Sata can run for president becoz he has served more than two terms! From 2001-2016! How many terms? Pf is playing with fire.Zambia must reject this bogus party and why did Sata want a third term for Chiluba?I still dont understand!Sata must just retire from politics.wheres the pact? Didnt Sata kill it because of dictatorship. Pf must give us a break from Sata. They dont have other good men and women? They only have spent catridges.oh my foot! it because of dictatorship. Pf must give us a break from Sata. They dont have other good men and women? They only have spent catridges.oh my foot!

  30. Ama “labels” ba shibuka!!! Ba “pushi” ba kantu!!! Na ba tutubuka!!!
Ba lebutukila RBish, “HUMPTY DUMPTY”, heading for a great fall!! “HD RB” will be remembered for single handedly killing one of Zambias most successful parties – now that is true agony!!!

  31. Let them leave… I know Marjory personally will reserve my comments….. its her democratic right to leave but whether it was the right move only after elections will we see….but in all honesty 20 year MMD has given us is too much…. change is evitable PLEASE

  32. This is a cool assessment of Michael Zondwa Sata. Let’s assume that PF and UPND are the biggests opposition parties in Zambia. A comparison between Sata and HH reveals that HH is much wiser than Sata. HH is a non-smoker, but the chemical constitution of the cigar Sata smokes is a mystery. In terms of national care HH has revealed that he is a more caring leader whereas Sata has no regard for humans except those that have accepted to be enslaved under him. HH respects the advice of his fellow UPND leaders, but Sata has exhibited the worst form of dictatorship in the PF. The worst & most unkind dictators Africa has produced, and who share similar genetic attributes, include Ivorian Gbagbo, Uganda’s Idi Amin, Angola’s Savimbi, Libya’s Gadaffi and SATA of Tanzanian origin.

  33. Strangely enough, the Post whose moto is to dig much deeper has exhibited a stance of an ostritch a bird that is known to burry its head in the sand to avoid facing the truth. The Post is practicing the worst kind of journalism of deliberately sweeping the truth under the carpet. The Post tends to openly publish defections of politicians from MMD and UPND to join PF. Defections of Masebo and Mangani have been well reported, but the same paper has displayed deaf ears on well-known defections of many PF MPs in the Copperbelt who have crossed to MMD. Former PF members have all expressed high levels of dictatoship by Sata. Mmembe and Amos Malipenga will suffer serious cases of depression after the 2011 elections.

  34. Nyrenda and his friend have been rebels from day one and they were chased from PF. They are still MP’s due to the injunction obtained by Machungwa. PF don’t want them and the MMD have suspicions and don’t trust them , they have no where to go. The MMD used them and discarded them like prostitutes they are, who can trust a prostitute? Nyrenda and his friends thought 5 years was a life time, they elections are here and the people you let down are waiting for YOU!

  35. Ba Nyirenda what have you done for the pipo of Ndeke Township keeeekeeeeekeeeeee I even wonder if you will survive the next election year

  36. Again and Again the rebel targ on these PF Mps will not be erased and if they think we can elect them anymore they are laying. Rebels as they are will nologer win them sympathy from MMD. They amased thier kudos at constitution and never voted for it when it went to paliament.
