Get Involved Zambia Executive Director Father Frank Bwalya says he will endeavor to engage the Zambian government in quite diplomacy in order to ensure it delivers according to the people’s expectations.
Fr Bwalya says his organization failed to collaborate with the previous MMD government because it was full of stubborn people.
Father Bwalya says the previous MMD regime thought they knew how to better run the affairs of the nation than anyone else.
He says his organization tried in vain to bring to the attention of the former MMD government the many challenges that the country was facing.
Father Bwalya says his organization will continue to stand for what the majority Zambians aim for.
QFM
You should be the last person to talk about being stubborn, I wonder what God thinks about you.
…….Hm. Father Bwalya huh…… I wonder what God thinks about you.
1 &2 I totally agree, I wonder what God thinks of a man who cheats the rules of the church by fathering a child against the rules of the church. He should be the last one to condemn any one. let our president and other well meaning zambians and Govt officials deliver in their five yrs mandate without without the likes of Bwalya
Its a norm for catholic fathers to secretly have children or relationships and happens everywhere. Not too long ago a catholic father in Ireland was exposed for having a wife and children in South America. Perhaps that is why they are called “fathers”. Does the Bible really tell them NOT to marry or they have made this for themselves? Last year the Pope was not man enough to apologize for the abuse by gay catholic fathers world over and was accused of condoning the act. So what do you expect.
All politicians are stubborn, including you Bwalya. At the most, you are arrogant. I have a feeling, that you feel you brought down the MMD….but the MMD brought itself down.
At least Bwalya is stubborn for a reason.
My priest, why engaging government on quite diplomacy now when you were so vocal and criticized the previous govt openly . At least we now know where you belong and that why you are quite and disappointed by the president you thought was ok. Twilasebanya ishina lya kwa Leasa mukulu. Please keep being vocal to prove your self that you stand for the majority Zambians. You mean there is nothing wrong in the governance now to talk about?
fr bwalya, thanks. at least you fought wisely against the thieving mmd. you identified yourself with the suffering masses. as for you and the church, rules and laws are there to follow and am sure you will be pardoned. after all you have proven a point by red carding rb and his minnions. God bless you.
Father Bwalya should not now sit on his laurels and pretend that everything will be ok. And he should learn to give praise where it is due. Yes, the MMD might have run a corrupt regime, but definitely they did not run the economy of this country down. They left a sound economy with a healthy bank reserve, 2 bumper harvest seasons, a single digit inflation and stable Kwacha. No one can claim to be perfect, MMD was not,and that is not to say the PF govt is. It’s too early to judge the PF govt, its trying its level best in the over 3 months it’s been in power, but it’s also only fair to add that countable mistakes have also been made along the way. Though vanquished and corruption-tainted , the MMD has left a very high benchmark which the PF govt would do well to emulate and maybe surpass.
This is a great man of God, not utu utuma fake Pastors utulombafye ulupiya mu Church. This one stands for the poor. well done Father and continue standing up for the truth. We know corrupt people wont like but we shall support you all the way.
bloggers…comment on the issue at hand and dont bring God’s name in disrepute……
Ba Homo just shutup please what do you know youself?
Quite diplomacy.. for foot!! No one is listening to you period. By loud so that we can hear how you are involving Zambians with PF government. Surprisingly, now you are quite. Trying to negotiate for a job perhaps?
He is a real father now he is called bashi junior or what?can someone tell us the name of his child.Mr.Bwalya should not talk about diplomacy or call the MMD stubborn,he by far the most unreasonable and stuborn former clergy i have ever come across.
How can you father a child against the rules of the church when you are the father ?
For those talking about fathering a child. Its normal. The rules are there because they know that not everyone will follow them and those who fail should be punished by the church. But to be honest Father Bwalya has never fathered any child. That lady in Ndola was paid by the MMD gvt to discredit the man of God. Father Bwalya may the Almighty God keep you safe from all evil and continue being the voice of the voiceless.
Idiot Jesuit you wanted to creat war in the country with your blood thirsty so called priests. You foo.ls especially you chap. You were behind all those stupid unproven false lies about magic pens,Malawians in bus loads ,attacking the Mwata etc .You calculated all this to disavantage the MMD.Now see what clown of a president you have put in state house.
you lying fool.
Has his organisation changed from being “Change Life” to “Get Involved”?
# 6 Mature. You state the church will pardon Fr Bwalya but you dont state what offence he committed to the church to be pardoned for. Out of all bloggers only #7 & 12 express contrary views about perception of Bwalya in the eyes of Zambians.
@14 muna dekhane, if fr bwalya has committed any offence, the church will deal with it and forgive him. thats what i meant. infact i am not privy to any offence that he has committed apart from campaigning against the mmd and rightly so. i have faith in the catholic church and its structures. they will definetely deal with this issue if they have not done so already.
Does it mean there no stealing going in PF?? Does it mean we have to wait for next government also to exposed PF. So in short, all people in government now ,are all saints,i dont think so, is it true that there is only past corruption and there are no current cases in PF government and in ministerial institutions?? Is true that this regime is fighting corruption?? You cant use corruption to fight corruption. Bwalya is no longer a father.
# 19 Mature. You amaze those reading your views. One is only forgiven if they commit an error, offence or fall short of expected standard. The mandate of Catholic church is not to campaign for a political party or for some organisation such as Change life or Get Involved to advance un clear objective. Contrary, Catholic church preach peace and help the poor and educate society. Mr Bwalya departed from the church commission and precisely for that reason he requested the church to be on sabbatical leave to pursue his personal agenda. Today he is still with his undefined campaign whose target and objectives can only be known by Mr Mature. He has brought doubts to what many believe the church stand for.
Nga Ka Never Mumba wat do you think of him?
Wats the difference between him & Nevers? coz they both claim to be men of God.
@21 muna dekhane, have you read what i posted @19? you have just echoed what i wrote thanks. i do not need to start an arguement here.
Indoshi yazala …… Its funny how this wizard admits his failures in such a subtle way…. Touch not my anointed saith the Lord….. The Lord commands “Suffer not a witch to live” thus therefore those of u that practice sorcery shall perish…
Bwalya’s face tells u how du)ll the chap is. He talks without engaging his brain. Has shot memory and very egocentric pride. He wont last, No one is above Zambia. He is just a small uneducated brat of less help to the country long term. Cheap womaniser waiting for God’s wrath soon.
So Fr. Bwalya is still alive. May the Souls of his colleagues (Bishop Duffy & Fr. Miha) Rest In Peace. However, I am curious to know why the Catholic Abassador representing the Vatican was ftransferred to the West Indies soon after the election. It may be a case of * mission accomplished* through a clandestine Catholic Project. Apparently, the character of Fr. Bwalya is so appalling as his genetic makeup lacks compassion for fellow humans. We are made to believe that the gift of true Christians lies in their ability to forgive. Bwalya is capable of beating a soul to death, burry him and later continue to hit on the grave of the dead. Iam lucky, I am NOT a Catholic.
@25 the wolf, you are very funny, i like your sense of humor. anyway try to know or meet fr bwalya and you will change your perception. as for not being a catholic, why shout about it? iam not a pente, neither am i a pagan or betterstill a satanist and iam not singing about it. we all have what we believe in and do not want to be provoked unnecessary.
