  1. Pic 1 Oh my word these Lozis- they are now singing the South African national anthem in Zambia..What the zambian anthem is not good enough for you anymore?

  2. DC commissioning a borehole!!! These people must be serious with life. He should be opening up big investments and not giving speeches at boreholes.

  3. I like the singing of the Silozi Barotse and South African Anthems. Zambia can go away with their Dont Kubeba national anthem.

  4. Does Southern Province wish to be annexed to the Litunga’s Barotse??? Its good to knowm in advance so that we plan disbursement of allocated resources to these provinces properly to the remaining Zambian provinces!!!!

  5. Now i think this Lozi thing is destroying the nation…do they actually have their own anthem? And what of the SA anthem?? or did the newspaper get it wrong again?

    • It would depend more on your skill level and styniag within your ability to maintain proper mechanics over the distance. You want to work the skill first, then add speed, then add distance or time last when the other 2 are set. You do not have to use a 7:00 interval the is the longest interval that should be used on that set. You could do 150s on 3:30 or 3:45 depending on the amount of rest you need to be able to repeat the same time on the next repeat. Or you could do a set of 100s on 2:30/2:45. I would keep it at one of those distances. I based the times on a 2:15 100 as that would be the pace for a 9:00 400m

  6. #5 Zed Mpinganhjira – You can get your resourses if you have any disbursed any. North West is the only province to get on our side then we can claim our independence from Zambia. Even us Grade 2 can continue our education. Litunga – Grade 4, Ngambela-Grade 2; Me-Grade 1.

  7. people when was the silosi national anthem produced and why are they singing it on zambian soil, the south african anthem

  8. It is unacceptable to sing a South African National Anthem in Zambia. There is no problem in singing the Silozi Anthem.

So the Lozi’s have disconnected themselves from Zambia, and South Africa are giving them the support to secede from the rest of the nation.

  9. if lozi leave zambia, then even us the luapula, nothern and north western will leave and become one nation and create our own government and will start utilizing the fish and the water and the new found oil deposits

  10. LT Its not Western Province Zambia Army Commander. It should be Zambia Army Western Regional Commander. A little research about what you write would help. Where is the Litunga? He doesn’t attend the meeting?

  13. Why Sing the South African national Anthem on Zambian soil? What’s the link? These Lozi noise makers are going nowhere.

  14. Umutende ulakola, if u find the people who are in the forefront of doing all this, they are financially stable. Why dont they tell govit 2 stop supplin them with medicine, salaries, education being given 2 ther children en the protection. These guys lyin 2 them things ar going 2 be fine, their childn dnt even get their education fom their neither do they live their. Think abt yo future mwe ba lozi.

  15. The first part is also in the South Africa anthem. Thus why LT is calling it Silozi Barotse and South African Anthems. The writing is different but the meaning is the same.

  16.  I think singing another countries anthem in your own country during an official meeting is treason. Its a clear defiance of the sovereignty of Zambia as a nation.I’m surprised the government is condoning this.

  17. All the seven districts in western province have endorsed breakaway of the region from Zambia.

The districts have submitted their resolutions to the Barotse National Council demanding that Western Province breaks away citing alleged abrogation of the Barotse Agreement of 1964.

The districts that have submitted their resolutions are Mongu, Senanga Sesheke, Kaoma, Kalabo, Lukulu and shangombo.

The resolutions were presented at the on-going Barotse National Council at st Lawrence parish limulunga royal village in Mongu.

Delegates from Sesheke have called for the UN’s intervention in their quest for Barotsseland independence.

They have also for the committee running the affairs of the region before first post-independence polls are held.

  18. And resolutions from Kalabo include calls for the resignation of members of parliament from western province so that they help push for Barotse independence.

  19. I have heard too much of this issue and surprising not much from the Lozi but from the Tongas. Can someone please explain why Tongas only, only their Chiefs and non from the other provinces.
Secondly, please correct if I error on this one, the Litunga is not attending these meeting as per decorum just like the President does not attend deliberations in the National Assembly or HM attending deliberation in the House of Commons or even Lords in UK. If this is true, then the Tongas attending are actually reducing themselves in rank because they are confirming that HM the Litunga is unquestionably above them. From CIVICS, I just thought they were independent and at ‘PAR’.

  20. Deputy mayor, Dos Santos? Looks like an Angolan coloured chap; just saying. Pharaoh, Pharaoh, let my people go.

  21. Lozi’s being Lozi! lol You embarrass the very few good Lozis I know.
These people are mad for sure. Most of them are unpleasant folk anyway. No one will miss them!

  22. silozi national anthem ,oh my god it is not south african , Igrew up singing it long before south africans composed theirs ; the truth is we are the same people.

  23. Can some confirm that the Western province Army Commander and the Police Commander were present while the national anthem in Silozi and SA was song? If they were present , where was their national loyalty?

  24. @Zibwidi – Their national loyalty is to Barotseland. Dont Kudabwa. Both Western province army and police commanders sung the Barotseland National anthem. Both Veep Scot and Chikwanda are in the country.

  25. These Lozi people are jokers, they are now singing south African national anthem in zambia, is’nt that treason? KK need to intervene and counsel these people over this issue.

    • let us be serious let it be known that barotse national anthem is truely barotse and was never copied from elsewhere! barotse issue is a challenge this generation has to overcome, because this issue will not depart from us as zambians.

  26. Leave my mbuyas alone! If they want to breakaway from silly bembalised Zambia why not. Some of as have left Zambia and we will never go back. Its a free world. When i go to Zambia i land at Livingstone airport ,see my parents in south province ,dont visit other towns because theys nothng there and i get back.

    • shame on you that you choose to leave your mom in ‘silly bembalised Zambia’ as you put it. SHAME, SHAME SHAME.

      proud Zambian.

  27. Hahahaha, Okay break away. Please leave our Zambian passports behind, leave our Zambian companies, ask for work permits, hand over Zambian land previously purchased, hand over Zambian businesses you own. No one saw that coming huh? We will make an example of you and we will milk you dry, we will sell power from ZESCO at a premium to you. You have no central bank, please, leave our country and go and make noise to other people, we are superior to you both militarily and economically. Leave us alone and go and rule your villager, stupid. You will suffer, your land is not very fertile. You produce rice, you can eat your stupid rice. Please start off and leave, your leaders are calling you. If you left the country with a Zambian passport, come back, we are tired of your nonsense!

  28. Lozi’s can go and we dont want to see any lozi in Zambia or working for a zambian company since they will seize to be zambians and become foreiners or we will be cutting your heads off once we notices your presence in our mother zambia.

  29. Us people from southern province are in support of the Barotseland breaking away from Zambia. These Bembas think Zambia is theres. We will have our own country known as BAROTONGA LAND.

  30. Last pic: My condolences to the family of the dead passenger but seriously, why the F*** would you carry a snake in your baggage.  Not only is that a risk to other passengers on board, but it also doesn’t say much about your mental health.

  31. If we had to play football between Zambia and Barotseland this would be the scoreline:
    Chipopolo 1,964 – Hopani 0

  32. These greedy, ignorant, nepotic, jealousy and stinking buffoons called Lozis have run out of the little grey matter they once had. Do they really know what they are talking about? This is treason! And their primitive ngambela even gives evidence of treason publicly and in print. This is all GRZ has been waiting for. Now that you’ve categorically and openly stated what you fools have been planning hiding behind the defunct barotse agreement, it’s time to get arrested and be prosecuted for treason. You will surely feel the weight of Boma. Isolate, arrest and sentence. Treason sentence is “hang by neck until pronouced dead”

  33. Barotseland National Soccer Team_2015, here we come Africa!!!

We have a lot of soccer talent in Barotseland only that things were done on tribal basis in Zambia, so the Lozi kids had no chance. The new Barotseland Team within 3 years will compete on the African platform, and Zambia will be the first to be beaten. Then we will go all the way to the World cup within 5 years after independence, which took Zambia 50 years. Wait and see. Since we are not tribal we select kids on the merit of skill and talent. Our team will potentially compose of all the 73 tribes of Zambia residing in Barotseland. This is great!!!! No corruption in BAZ, Barotseland Football Association.

  34. Barotseland was a nation long before Zambia was born, we used to sing this National anthem growing up. This is not new. We never lost what belongs to us. We have been waiting for this day.

  35. Death of a president around the corner in africa, guess who will celebrate…….the presidents closest friends

  36. with the incorparation of the Westerners, North-westerners, and great the Southerners africa cup has been won and brought to Zambia. FACT. when transparency when choosing players at national level prevails, world cup will cme to zambia.

  37. “…most of them are not nice; I hate them; they disgust me…” All this stuff and the next time you meet a Lozi guy you are there smiling and pretending like you like them. Zambians are the worst pretenders you could ever meet… they would smile at you whwile stabbing you in the back immediately you turn around.

Folks hiding behind the anonymity of the keyboard ought to be ashamed of themselves with all the hate they are spewing.

After all is said and done, Lozis are better off on their own, knowing most of these Northerners hate them anyway as exhibited by these blogs. Why would you hate someone based on their tribe? It’s no wonder tribalism in jobs is rampant in this country. And this country will never be the same no matter what happens with the BA’64 outcome.

  38. Undeniably believe that which you seattd. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the net the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people think about worries that they plainly don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
