A joint team of investigators have questioned son of former president Rupiah Banda Andrew in connection with the alleged corruption activities in a road contract that was given to an Italian company by Road Development Agency (RDA).
Mr. Banda has also been questioned on the money amounting to about 195 million kwacha which was come across during the investigations.
Spokesperson of the joint investigative team Charity Munganga Chanda has confirmed the development to QFM and has noted that the investigative team are trying to establish whether the money found with Mr. Banda are proceeds of a crime or not.
Mrs. Chanda said that Mr. Banda was very cooperative with the law enforcement agencies and questioning continues tomorrow.

Taking into account that Mrs. Thandiwe Banda, Henry Banda, and now Andrew Banda have been questioned on tramped-up allegations, these are merely coordinated PF schemes to persecute RB and his family. We the people from Eastern region are watching Sata with keen interest, After 2016 or even before that year – God willing – the scenario will be different when normality in governance shall be restored.

The fact that Andrew is been questioned by the investigative agencies in a professional manner and without any prejudice nullifies whatever stupidity Amsterdam has presented to the UN.
Henry needs to do the right thing, come home and be questioned or else he is wasting money with Amsterdam who is misleading him on futile UN appeals.
