Weekend Scorecard: 5 SA-based Players Join Camp

The Zambia team today swelled to 12 as the African champions began their first day of training in Johannesburg ahead of the 2014 World Cup Group D qualifier away to Sudan on June 2 in Khartoum.

Five South African based players joined the other seven who had travelled from Lusaka on Sunday to begin their weeklong training camp in Johannesburg.

Golden Arrows defender Joseph Musonda who was recalled over the weekend is also in camp together with Orlando Pirates midfielder Isaac Chansa.

Others are Bidvest Wits defender Kampamba Chintu and the Free State Stars duo of Kennedy Mweene and Noah Chivuta.

The TP Mazembe call-ups are expected on Tuesday while Jonas Sakuwaha is due in on Wednesday.
