Power Deny Courting Kabwe Warriors’ Star

Power Dynamos secretary Justin Kapoma has poured cold water on reports suggesting that the Kitwe side has signed Kabwe Warriors skipper Roderick Kabwe.

Kabwe, a dependable midfield player at Warriors, has been linked with a move to Arthur Davies Stadium.

But Kapoma said Power have not signed the young star.

“We have not signed any player yet. But we want to reinforce out team and that is not a secret ,” he said.

Kapoma indicated that Power are likely to conclude negotiations with some prospective players next week.

“By next week, we should acquire some players,” he added.

Konkola Blades teenager Julio Situmbeko has also been linked to Power.

Last week, Power loaned striker Alex Ng’onga and winger Josphat Nkhoma to Nchanga Rangers

  1. Chililabombwe is now a no go area for all Power officials. Why can’t you just mould your own players than always get Blades cream and upcoming players? You come and give Julio’s mother some cash and you get him in the night. Mind you Julio’s employers are KCM through Konkola Blades and has a three years contract. You idiots with TP Mazembe hangover. Thomas Nyirenda, Maybin Chishimba & Graven Chitalu aint enough chi Justin Kapoma idiot.

  2. Kapoma is lieing, he was seen in Kabwe on Wednesday night in search of rodricks house! He had a k2million to give to the youngster to try and lure him to kitwe.

  3. Is it true dick NGwenya ,warriors coach, has gone back to his home town NDOLA? He is now coaching Indeni after attending interviews over the weekend. I thought he has a job of taking the Kabwe side back to premiership status. Loyalty overy money?

  4. #2 NGanga, did Kapoma show you the money? Stop blocking youngsters from progressing. Wouldn’t you move yourself from your current employers if another employer offered you a better pay? Football is a very short career, let the players make money while they can.

  5. You are surprising me my friends, why wouldn’t you want the players from Konkola Blades to join Power where they will be paid better than where they are? And why would you want Dickson Ngwenya to continue being at Warriors for the sake of “loyalty”? Will “loyalty” pay his bills, take his children to school, support his family and keep a roof on top of his head when he can no longer coach? Please lets be real and put ourselves in these players and coaches shoes for once before we condemn them.

  6. We are not against players movements but officials should be civilised and first approach the responsible club. Not getting a player in the night after paying the mother. Mind u the player has to be cleared by the club not the parents. I am sure Kapoma must be getting his girlfriend in the night even now when that era has past of seeing girlfriends in the dark so that you are not seen.
Hope you wont be putting the chap on touch line like you are doing to Thomas.
Keegan Mumba got 70% of our last season regular players and thought Blades will finish but God is with us and will give us more talent.

  7. Many are the teams where you can source players ba power naimwe eeeee. mulefwaya ngatuleteye naimwe tulemona kwati ni ba konkola bekabeka. lets go sharp razorrrrrrrrr and mine policeeeeeeeeeeee tomoro for that local deby here in chili boarder.
