President Sata sends a message of condolences to the people of Ethiopia

President Michael Sata has learnt with deep shock and sadness the untimely death of Ethiopian Prime Minister Mels Zenawi.

And President Sata has sent a message of condolences to the people of Ethiopia over the death of the Prime Minister.

In his letter to Acting Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn,Mr. Sata says it is with a profound sense of grief that he has learnt of the death of Prime Minister Zenawi.

The Head of State says the late Prime Minister will be remembered for his tireless efforts in maintaining peace and stability in the Horn of Africa, even in the midst of turmoil.

This is contained in a statement to ZNBC News in Lusaka by the President’s Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations George Chellah.

Meanwhile, President Sata has also sent a message of condolences to Investrust Bank Plc, Chairman Friday Ndhlovu following the death of his wife Margaret-Rose Revay.

He says Mrs. Nndhlovu will be remembered as a great woman who dedicated her life to selfless service up to the time of her death.
