Bishop John Mambo has observed that President Michael Sata’s opposition politics were issue based something which is lacking in the current opposition.
Bishop Mambo who is also Chikondi Foundation President has told QFM News in an interview that President Sata remained relevant to opposition politics as an opposition leader because he remained issued based.
Bishop Mambo says it is for this reason that President Sata as an opposition leader was able to keep the then MMD government on feet because he talked about issues that affected the people of Zambia.
The clergyman has observed that being issue based is an element that the current opposition is lacking and has since advised them to change their approach to politics.
Bishop Mambo has further observed that the relevance of President Sata at the time he was in opposition can be seen from how the then late President Levy Mwanawasa decided to embrace dialogue with him as an opposition leader.
He adds that the current opposition will never be an effective pressure group if they do not address issues affecting the Zambian people as well as offer alternative solutions to the challenges being faced in the country.

In case you have forgotten Ba Bish, the only reason LPM and MCS reconciled was because the former saved the latters life by evacuating him to South Africa for heart refurbishment. I don’t also think calling LPM cabbage was in its self issue based campaign let alone Nyamasoya for RB.
