Patriotic Front (PF) national youth chairperson Chishimba Kambwili has with immediate effect directed all PF provincial youth chairpersons to stop issuing statements in the media about justice minister Wynter Kabimba’s duo roles.
“Iam directing all provincial youth chairpersons to stop issuing statements to the press about people who are against Mr Kabimba’s duo roles. There is no problem with him having two positions,” Mr Kambwili
said.
Speaking in an interview in Luanshya, Mr Kambwili who is also minister of youth and sport maintained that there is nothing sinister about Mr Kabimba holding two positions.
He gave an example of himself who was serving as minister of youth and sport as well as PF national chairperson for youths.
“If there is a problem with Mr Kabimba holding two positions then I might as well resign either as minster of youth and sport, or as PF youth chairperson,” he added.
The minister said he had of late noted with a lot of concern that some provincial youth chairpersons had been making allegations in the media about certain figures within the party who were reportedly against the appointment of party secretary general Wynter kabimba as justice minister.
Mr Kambwili said the statements being made by certain youths would make people think that there was division and confusion in the party there by making it porous to the enemies of the party.
“This should be stopped as it will destroy the party will not allow any youths to issue statements anyhow. Whoever will be found issuing such statements will be disciplined. Let this come to an end or else heads will roll,” He added.
He has however advised the youths to follow the right channels when raising issues of concern.

if kambwili is still a youth i guess it will take me more years to graduate from the youth category….Kambwili dont show your immaturity in the media..why cant you write to the particular youth and warn him/her sternly instead of warning everyone.
