We Have No Excuse to Lose in Mali: Keagan Mumba

Keagan Mumba says there will be no excuses for the Zambia Under-20 to lose to Mali on Friday.

Zambia Under-20 and Mali clash in a must-win 2013 African Youth Championship final leg qualifier in Bamako.

Mumba said prior to departure on Tuesday that the Under-20 team had received a lot of support for them not to fail in their quest to qualify for next March finals in Algeria.

“I have never seen any junior team receiving such massive support from Faz,” Mumba said.

“They have really supported us and they even brought senior national team coaches to assist. For sure we will have no excuse if we lose this time around.”

Herve Renard and his assistant Patrice Beaumelle will be part of the Zambia Under-20 bench in Bamako.

Zambia and Mali are tied at 2-2 from the first leg game played n September 22 at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.

  1. You should have done it right first time. What guarantee do you have that your team will win when you failed to win at home. The fact that they brought the senior National Team coach is probably they have seen your weakness and they are dead scared the opportunity to qualify may be completely lost.

Be serious and qualify the team.

  2. Good Patrice will be there, what about my friend Davis Phiri, those guys just add maturity to the teams. Unlike those useless Kamwambi and the like…just kissing Christ Katongos’ ss all the time.

  3. The incluzion of Harve Renard and his assistant to the U20 technical bench iz good enough an excuze that Keagan Mumba iz looking for when the taem doezn’t perform against Mali.

  4. Go wire them guys. the whole nation believes you can go all the way. the Mali defence needs to be aware of Mulenga Mukuka, Kampamba Renald, Musakanya Bruce, Nyaende Felix……….. we are going to Mali for an outright win so for now, all the doubting Thomases need to just watch how things go. Abena Zambia mudabwisa ayi! why not support your team? is it Jealous??
