  1. I wonder what kind criteria they used but anyway though i may have my own reservations i am still happy that a Zambian brother has been nominated. All the best ruff kid.We are surely behind you young man.Congrats

  2. zambians you need inner healing, comfront your negative upbringings that make you not to be happy for others. by so doing you will start to see success in your own lives.

  3. I SECOND #7 pipo y do u always hav negative feelings on other pipo’s success shame on u balimilowa grow up!congrats raff kid

  4. Black Entertainment Film Fashion and Arts award. He qualifies and has been nominated. Vote or don’t vote. Simple. Good luck C.

  5. Fellow Zambians! These BEFFTA AWARDS UK are a mare fabrication of just the many awards involving Zambians living in the UK. As a Zambian living in the UK, its very sad how even Chimbwi No Plan will come from the blues for some funny award out here. For those of you that don’t follow the stupidity around UK awards involving Zambians mark my word even without your vote this innocent boy will sadly  join the list of Shameful awards  give to Zambians ati because its ku UK, Its just a Scam nothing big but very small. Even a street vendor can win so long you know or sleep with one of the sad HIV positive organisers behind the whole thing=)):((:(|):))(:|#-o

  6. I MAY SAY THE LYRICS ARE A BIT OK. BUT AGAIN THIS SAME BASS LINE FOR ALL ZAMBIAN SINGERS MUSIC IS RUBBISH. ZAMBIAN MUSICIANS BE INNOVATIVE. HOW CAN THE ALL MUSICIANS IN ZAMBIA HAVE ONLY ONE TUNE? ARE YOU ALL JUST COPYING AND PASTING?

  7. Well congrates Ruff but having been an organizer in the UK before best research as number 12 is very correct, I have seen artist come to London and sleep on a couch u see even big artists in africa don’t go or get excited with some of these awards i can assure u,d’banj no Fally will even pitch, these London promoters need to stop lying to our artist just to make a name,Ruff kid go and perform somewhere n let these chaps not waste ur time…

  8. Wow I am an observer of the arts within the Black and Ethnic community here in the UK and not Zambian or African for that matter i have been going through all the nominees and as the music category is first in the list my search on Ruff Kid brought the link to this on the Google search results. I have to say i am deeply disappointed on the comments being displayed here, the comments are nowhere close to constructive but rather sound bitter. I was under the impression that Zambians were a noble supportive and happy people, but i stand corrected. I come from St Lucia and i have never seen anything like this, its despicable. i would like to reiterate on the fact that you seem to also be under the impression that the BEFFTA Awards are by a Zambian promoter. Continued ……

  9. …Continued Well you will find you are wrong as i am assuming that non of you have taken the time to research the award ceremony itself and look at what they do and why Ruff Kid even if he does not prove popular to you was nominated in the first place. Are any of you aware that BEFFTA are there to recognise the known and unknown in the Black and Ethnic communities in the UK and the diaspora? This gives a chance for people who have been in the industry for a while and deserve that pat in the back to say well done, that is why the public nominate and the public vote too. For you to go further as to state that the organiser(s) have HIV and the artist will just have to sleep with them is down right disrespectful to what BEFFTA stands for ..Continued…

  10. Continued…and the hard work the artist has put into their music, weather it be to your liking or not. BEFFTA is about showing support, something the Zambian people seem to be lacking in vastly. I am very disappointed. i only heard of Zambia by reading for years about Kenneth Kaunda and also about the Victoria falls, and from what i have seen in my research i dreamed of visiting this peaceful African country, but seeing this makes me wonder what i could find if i were to visit your country if this is how you behave/react towards another’s achievement. We as black people will hardly get the accolades we deserve within the white medium of awards, only a handful make the cut not because of lack of talent but because of pure propaganda, and so it is our duty as black and ethnic ..continued

  11. …continued…minorities to put together organisations that offer that opportunity for one another. The level of bitterness and negativity has really baffled me today, i hope and pray that you find peace within your hearts not to hold such resentment for one another.
