Rainford Kalaba will miss Zambia’s friendly against South Africa on Wednesday at Soccer City.
Kalaba who travelled to join Zambia in camp on Monday in Johannesburg was examined on Tuesday by the team’s medical personal.
The TP Mazembe midfielder has been out of action since October 7.
Kalaba sustained a groin injury on that date in a Caf Champions League semifinal first leg home tie against Tunisian club Esperance.

Quick recovery for Kalaba.But we seriously need fresh blood in our team for us not to go the way of the green eagles,egyptians,the lions and indeed senegal.Players like Chris,Chamanga,Felix,Joseph and Kampamba need to be replacements very soon if we are to defend our title honourably.I personally feel Chamanga has been a passenger for far too long!!!
