KCM Donates to Nchanga Junior Golfers

Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) has donated 35 golf sets valued at KR 52,00 to junior golfers at Nchanga club in Chingola.

KCM CEO Jeyakumar Janakaraj presented the golf sets to Nchanga Golf Club president John Zyambo on Saturday.

The club has 97 young golfers.

In 2011,Nchanga had only 33 junior golfers before embarking an recruitment programme.

  1. Way to go JJ, we are very proud of you. Our Junior golf programmes are always lagging behind as compared to our neighbours (SA, Namibia and Zimbabwe) because we do not have companies that sponsor our juniors. Thanks to you KCM, please keep up the good work.

    • Ifyaupuba!! Ma rubbish! When the same JJ can’t appreciate the people who are busy making the same money he is donating. Salary increaments at 7.5% and you call yourself the biggest copper producers. ATASEE!!!!

  2. LT, please check your facts. Those golf sets, 35 of them, cannot cost KR52,00, whatever this means. Maybe KR52,000 or more precisely K52m?
