Share

Power Dynamos have beaten Zanaco 2-0 in Thursday afternoon’s friendly played at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.

Winger Simon Bwalya and veteran defender Kabwe Kamuzati contributed a goal each for Power in either half.

Zanaco and Power are getting ready for the 2013 CAF champions league and confederation respectively.
After Thursday’s warm-up match, Power and Zanaco will play their final friendly on Saturday against Roan United and Nkwazi respectively.

Zanaco begins their champions league campaign on 16 February with a preliminary round, first leg tie against Mbabane Swallows of Swaziland in Lusaka.

Power will face Angola’s Recreativo da Caala in the confederation cup preliminary round, first leg in Kitwe on the same date.

Meanwhile, influential Zanaco midfielder Venecious Mapande has quit the club days before it launches the 2013 CAF Champions League campaign.

Mapande tendered his resignation on Wednesday.

Zanaco head coach Keagan Mumba confirmed on Thursday afternoon in Kitwe.

“Venecious has opted to leave. He wants to try his luck somewhere else. His destination is not yet known,” Mumba revealed to LT Sports in Kitwe.

Unconfirmed reports have linked Mapande with a move to Nkana.

  1. Management of players in the local league is a joke! Don’t think Venacious can leave for Nkana, maybe someone has promised him a lucrative deal outside the country. Zanaco will be kicked out in the first round and loud mouth Mumba will be shut.

  2. What can stop him from leaving for kalampa.Remember if he wants a good club outside the country Nkana is the best club as the club is a crowd puller and thats what most scouts follow.Mapande good move my dear.just shine at Nkana and within a year you will be noticed by powerful clubs outside.

  3. My friend, play at Nkana, this year i have consulted our old days spirits and every thing seems to have come back to Busakile, we are also preparing for 2014 continental cups

  4. Monitoring is best done when you have a couple of data to compare. A lot of blood pressure monitors have huge memory banks storing about 80 or more readings. If you’re going to buy a blood pressure monitor that’s so hard to use then might as well stick with sphygmomanometer and stethoscope.
