African Heads of State from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and Great lakes region are expected in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to sign a peace, security and Cooperation Framework tomorrow for Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the region.
Justice Minister, Wynter Kabimba, who will be representing President Michael Sata during the signing ceremony, is expected in Addis Ababa today.
This is contained in a statement issued to ZANIS today by First Secretary Press at the Zambian Embassy in Ethiopia, Dorcas Chileshe.
The framework is intended to bring lasting peace and stability to the war-torn Eastern DRC and the region as a whole.
The United Nations (UN), African Union (AU), SADC and the Great Lakes region have worked together to formulate the framework to strengthen other efforts already being implemented to address the conflict in Eastern DRC.
UN secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon and AU Commission Chairperson, Nkosazana Dlamina Zuma, will attend the signing ceremony.

His excellency the President, will forgo this trip as he already went for his medical check up two weeks ago in the UK as a result this trip is not necessary and is unimportant to him.

You should even hold your head in shame that a secretary general of one of the Zambian party should represent Zambia in the absence of a sickly head of state. Even foreign head of state will just wonder in awe about the Zambian govt as they expect either a head of state or his vice. PF govt can afford to hide, hoodwink and donchi kubeba poor ordinary Zambians but can not succeed to cheat the International community and the world, its a shame.

The de facto Republican President, HE Dr. Fred Mmembe, has directed his Executive Prime Minister Sata to send Wynter Kabimba to Ethiopia so as attend the AU Meeting. This move will blot-out Given Lubinda and humiliate the Lozis. We wonder how the Lozi and Tonga voters in Livingstone will interpret Sata’s sarcasm to the people of Western Province. In as far as President Mmembe is concerned, Kabimba is being flagged as the most docile and ‘useful Mufubafuba’ to exploit among the Lenje genetic pool. Sakeni, Kambwili and GBM are practically irrelevant to President Mmembe and his tenant currently residing at State House.
