President Michael Sata has been invited for a one week state visit to China by that country’s head of state Xi Jinping.
In the one week state visit which will start from the 5th to 12th of April, President Sata is scheduled to among other things have bilateral talks with his Chinese counterpart, meet some other top Chinese leaders, and sign bilateral agreements on cooperation between the two countries.
Speaking at press briefing held in Lusaka this morning, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Zhou Yuxiao disclosed that President Sata will also be invited to attend the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference for 2013 from the 6th to 8th April.
Ambassador Yuxiao further noted that at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference which will be held under the theme, Asia Seeking Development for All: Restructuring, Responsibility and Cooperation, President Sata will also make a presentation.
He added that during the same conference, President Sata will further make a key note speech on a sub session of the conference on Africa under the theme, Rise of An Continent.
Ambassador Yuxiao has reiterated that the invitation of a state visit to China extended to the Zambian president by President Jinping barely twenty days after the inauguration of the new Chinese leadership indicates the great importance China attaches to its relations with Zambia.
President Sata is also expected to address a Zambia-China Trade and Investment Forum which will be organized by the Zambian Embassy in that country.

Zambia can not work with Great Britain because the whole Euro economy is crumbling. The major countries to go bankrupt first in Europe will be France, Greece and Spain (in that order) then this will be followed by Britain. After meeting XI Jinping, Mr. Ukwa Sata is expected to proceed to India for a medical review on his heart and kidney problems. Thus far, very few leaders would remotely consider entertaining even a slightest thought of visiting Zambia as long as Sata remains in that top influential position. The arm of the justice system which is vulnerable to Sata’s uneven handed approach in dealing with his opponents, is the police. The police together with other elite secondary law enforcers have the powers to decide which matter or how they can carefully and maliciously make a matter to be tried in a court of law irrespective of luck of evidence or the admissibility of evidence before the courts. Provided the subject of a matter is Sata’s opposition opponent.

Please, do not confuse the Chinese’s invitation to Sata with the general international recognition of Sata as a charismatic or transformational leader. Sata does not deserve any of the above types of leadership because he does not possess the atributes which can raise the defense which advocate him as such. To date, even his closest neighboursdo not visit him i.e. the Malawian lady, despite donating fuel to that country, she played hide and seek, subsequently she turned his invitation down. The only isolated lost ally, Mugabe, paid Sata a visit because these two are not liked by level headed think tanks.

Till this picture came in, I have been rubbishing the rumours of the president not looking well. If what I see on his face (puffiness) is anything to go by, he needs our prayers. President Sata is on death bed and gravely sick. Presidency as head of Zambia is in the hands of Kola Lubemba foudation. Discussions are on who becomes president when Sata resigns or finally……..abudicates. Constitutionally, there would be no president as Chief Justice has to act and PF party appoint their own party president for presidential by- elections (price of causing unnecessary by-elections in the nation finally catches up with Sata’s own by-election). Chikwanda should just inform Chinese govt about the inability of Sata to visit China due to illness. Better be honest than hide as eventuality will come to pass.
