Zambia beat Nkwiza in training match

Zambia this afternoon won their final training game ahead of Saturday 2014 World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.

Herve Renard’s side beat FAZ Division North club Nkwiza.

Zambia scored through goals from Collins Mbesuma and Emmanuel Mayuka in each half.

Francis Mulenga scored from the penalty spot for Nkwiza just before the end of the first half.

The win comes exactly a week after Zambia lost by the same margin to Nkana in another training game played Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

    • Chipolopoloplo is on fire, they managed to win Nkwiza, a second division team? Zambia bakali!!! Let Lesotho come, can’t wait for saturday.

  1. So sad indeed. Beating a lower division side by only 2-1. We aint going anywhere under Herve Renard. What a shame….

  2. Why choose a division one team why not go for a premier side?ou should have played nkana again and afer beating nkana we would know you have been training. You choose a side which is lower ba national team mwasebana. Call back ante buselic !

  3. Sheeeee……donchi kubaba!!!!hahaaaaa.Ba Zambia makula 2-1 sure??Iliko dad apa kwena.

  4. Well done Chipolopolo beat the Lethoto likwenas.. keep your back do not let those boys reply.

  5. You beat a div 1 side only 2-1 in a FINAL training match & still have the courage to go public about it? Maya…

  6. Yee of fickle minds.. Even if we won by 10-0 the same people rubbishing this score line would have said Nkwiza is a non entity and the scoreline doesnt count.. How do u surely expect the boys to play a serious match 2 days before the WC against Lesotho??Injuries??PHD mentality as usual ma Zambians..let us the real fans go and lumba to the last whistle at Levy while u arm chair critics look for faults…win or lose ti supporter..chipolopolo by birth and not by performance.

  7. There will be a prayer meeting at Brethel church in Ndola for the Chipolopolo on Friday and soccer fans are encouraged to attend.I wish the pastor could have just joined the team and pray with them.

  8. “Leaner” has no wining formula, the chap is clueless on sharening the frontline. Cant wait for him to be sacked mwe…. too much hatred nokupoka line up from Kalu! Oh wat a crap of a coach……… Dont expect more goals come sataurday nima yaaaaah yaaaaaah…… chabe!!!

  9. I have never seen people who can judge a National Team’s performance from a practice game. National Teams always lose to Clubs, but still go on to win their engagements. Let’s wait for Saturday and celebrate Chapwa

  10. why not play with big teams like Power dynamos, nchanga rangers or even zesco utd?surely they should have even played sensational kalulushi modern stars if they didnt want to play big teams.

  11. No don’t be upset that’s what happens when big teams play with small teams, to tell you even the perished team used to play with division ones and at times they could loose in fact its well and good because it will give more appetite for players to put in much effort unlike winning by bigger margin in friendlies because players would think all was well.Go Zambia GO this time we are not behind you we are actually in front of you
