New Power Dynamos coach Tenant Chilumba is targeting a win in his first game in charge of the Kitwe side as it takes on Konkola Mine Police away in Chililabombwe in Saturday’s Super Division Week 12 match.
Power faces Mine Police hoping to end their bad patch that resulted in the firing of the entire Beston Chambeshi technical bench more than two weeks ago.
In a pre-match interview, Chilumba said Power must beat Mine Police to boost their morale.
Powers are eighth on the table on 16 points while Mine Police are three points behind their opponents and lie 12th on the table.
“I am looking forward to a win. To me it’s the first game but it will be very tricky because I have never watched Mine Police play but we will see, definitely we have to get maximum points.
“The win will lift the morale of the boys, you know they have been struggling,” Chilumba said.
The Arthur Davies outfit warmed up for Mine Police with a 2-0 win over Division One North side Kitwe United in practice match on Wednesday.
