Mozambique warm-up for Zambia with a win

Zambia’s 2013 Cosafa cup quarterfinal opponents Mozambique warmed up for Chipolopolo with a win over Malawi.

Mozambique beat Malawi 1-0 on Saturday at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.

The game’s lone goal was scored by Josimar Machaisse in the 40th minute.

Mozambique will face Zambia in their last eight clash on July 14 at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

Winner of that game will face winner of the other semifinal between Bafana Bafana and winner from Group A comprising of Namibia, Seychelles and Mauritius.

Zambia, Mozambique, Bafana Bafana, Malawi, Angola and defending champions Zimbabwe all received byes to the quarterfinals.

  2. Hope the come and kick out renard out of the cosafa before we worst more tax payers money. In any case if you cant beat a team coached by renard then you better stay at home.

  3. We have a team but lack a coach who can deliver positive results. We are not going anywhere in this Cosafa tournament mark my words. And how can a coach leave out Sate Sate a leading top scorer in the league?
