Zambia beat Mozambique 3-1 to book a 2013 Cosafa Cup semifinal date against Bafana-Bafana on Wednesday.
The three-time champions had a virtually easy day against The Mamba’s at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

Meanwhile in the other quarterfinal, Lesotho beat Angola 5-3 on post-match penalty after a 1-1 draw.
Lesotho faces Zimbabwe in the other semifinal on July 17.
Good result for our young team and a good one for Lesotho too
This is ridiculous why report about sport, when the world is talking about Zimmerman verdict controversy
Pathetic
Thanks
Zimmerman verdict controversy, and???
Mushota please dont remind us of those heart breaking stories ok?
Zambia is Zambia Mushota we really don’t care about those bastards killing each other.
With due respects on a Sunday, Mr. Lukanga fumyapo picture, you be anointed with comments and you regret not be Zambian.
Some of these women we marry from Latina America simply have nonsesical comments on Zambians who like posing for pictures.
Yes Lukanga. Well said.
ichilata should be the home stadium for our zambia national team. good result though
which planet are you operating from?
am operating from your bedroom if you have any
The pitch at Chilata is too bumpy for it to become Chipolopolo’s home. The ball moves in small leaps and never in a straight line. Mopani should take more care of those greens. RCM used to look after the pitches much better
@Notorious… I withdraw my comment, because I want to insult you ati “chika.. “but being a Sunday.
@ notradamus what about sunday? tukana we ichalo chilekumfya.
I wasn’t very impressed watching the game on tv. Too many errors by our players. We shud have won by a bigger margin. The defender gave that striker sppace to take an overhead kick. We. Shouldn’t be allowing teams to score in the last minutes. Suppose that was the ghana game? We would be out of Brazil. Let’s congratulate our players but also point out their mistakes. we will definitely struggle against technically superior bafana.
@Simply, If you were close-by, nga nakupona. The game was best, if you are used to miss the holes, then stop trying getting there. We enjoyed the match.. finito.
am operating from your bedroom if you have any
Am just waiting for the real games!
Mozambique did not give us a good run in that game to write home about. Personally I didn’t see good football from our boys. The 3 – 1 win was just luck on our part, the first goal was a penalty, second goal as well wasn’t a calculated one as Jimmy Chisenga never meant to score but made that cross for strikers which coincidentally found itself behind the net. The only goal we can be proud of is the third which was well calculated. If anything that was a 1 – 1 game let wait for Wednesday as I believe Bafana Bafana will give u good game of which after winning we’ll be proud of our young Chipolopolo. Viva Zambia.
The game is Ghana vs Zambia world cup qualifier and if only they can beat Ghana then moral will be restored in us fans.
My sentiments exactly!
We have no sharp strikers even with this local team, we needed Winstone Kalengo and Sate Sate upfront, young Moses Phiri looked sharp but lacked maturity, the Nkana striker is not a National team material while Bornwell Mwape lacks technical sharpness. We face a real test to a much superior team on wednesday and I still maintain Renard should GO and GO for good… average cosafa coach!!!
#4, simple u are right, over kick sure, wateyakofye umutwe then the man in charge of the match would blow for a fowl.
