Leaders Zesco United on Sunday brushed aside the frustration of having two of their goals disallowed to beat Roan United 2-0 in the Super Division match at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
Zesco put up an improved second half display to beat Roan after a goalless first half to stay top of the table.
Mwape Mwelwa put Zesco in front with a 58th minute header before skipper Kondwani Mtonga scored the second in the 81st minute with another header.
Zesco striker Patrick Kabamba had a goal disallowed on the stroke of half time for an infringement inside the box.
Second half substitute Winston Kalengo too had his 87th minute powerful shot ruled out for an offside.
Earlier on 74 minutes, Lottie Phiri failed to double Zesco’s lead when he hit the crossbar from inside the box.
The win pushes Zesco to 41 points on the table while Roan are stuck 31 points.
When did Nkana lose Patrick Kabamba?
Long, long ago ! He went to Angola ( and then, if I’m not mistaken tried TP Mazembe ) !
Slay??? Of all words, whats wrong with this PF culture kanshi?
its probably because of people like you who always use the opposite end to think.this issue has nothing to do with PF….
‘Shock’ or ‘electrocute’ is more appropriate for Zesco I think
