Chintu-Brazil are beatable

Share

Veteran Zambia and Kabwe Warriors defender Kampamba Chintu says
five-time World champions Brazil are beatable.

Chintu joined the Chipolopolo squad in China on Sunday ahead of
Tuesday’s international friendly against Brazil in Beijing.

He believes that Zambia should not be intimidated by a litany of stars
in the Brazil team.

“Anything is possible in football as long as we apply ourselves
positively we can do it we have done it before,” Chintu said.

He added:”We were also African champions last year so it’s going to be
a good game.”

This will be the first time Zambia will be facing Brazil at senior level.

Meanwhile, Brazil warmed up for Zambia with a 2-0 win over South Koera in Seoul on Saturday courtesy of goals from Neymar and Oscar.

  1. Zambia is not just good enough…when are you people ever going to get it and WAKE UP. You wasted a lot of time with the PE teacher who was upgrading his CV.

    • Some researchers believe that the key to finding a cure for cancer is to inhibit proliferation of cancer stem cells. Accordingly, current cancer treatments are designed to kill cancer cells.

However, conventional chemotherapy treatments cannot discriminate between cancerous cells and others. Stem cell therapies may serve as potential treatments for cancer.[16] Research on treating lymphoma using adult stem cells is underway and has had human trials.

Essentially, chemotherapy is used to completely destroy the patients own lymphocytes, and the stem cells injected, eventually replacing the immune system of the patient with that of the healthy donor.

    • @jay jay you’re just an ignorant moron. No one gets to coach in a European league without a UEFA coaching licence. Renard is a UEFA licenced coach. That PE nonsense you continue harping on is just your own manufactured rubbish! You’re an ignorant fool!

    • IWE @BUPILO, JAY JAY IS RIGHT!!! DOCILITY BA ZAMBIA! YOU WASTED TIME WITH A PHYSICAL TRAINER!! MEANWHILE YOUR FAZ BOSS STAYS IN SOUTH AFRICA!!!

    • @ Jay Jay u say Zambia’s chipolopolo ‘is just not good enough’ but what do u mean?…not good enough for what? They have proved they are good enough to be champions of Africa and thats why Brazil, the best in the world looking for high profile international match against a strong african side, picked on Zambia, and thats why our PE coach was identified by that division one side French team….so @ Jay Jay you are the one who is just not good enough to analyze, have confidence in your team.

  2. I lke ur style of play Chintu. I’m glad to hear your positive mentality u exhibiting over this big game we all waiting for. Nothing is impossible guys go out and fight for ur country come Tuesday. “Yes We Can”

    • Like you were going to hammer Ghana in Kumasi!!LOL Now you will hammer a Brazilian trying to put in more mileage in preparation matches before the world cup!!LOL

    • I am sure up to date you can name the entire Camerounian squad, the squad that was. Which player can you name in the Zambian team with equal measure. Even Cameroun now are not that good these days. Anyway, as they say the ball is round. Wish Zambia all the best.

    • There is nothing in that article but wishful thinking, has Chintu ever watched a Brazilian friendly or does he take statistics and facts seriously. Anyway Zambian fans like to be lied to they believed that their PE teacher would stay with them forever because he won the AFCON 2012 for them!!LOL

    • @Jay Jay; he is not a PE teacher you moron. He is a qualified UEFA coach. You don’t get to be a football manager in European leagues without a UEFA professional coaching certificate.

  3. Playing Brazil in an international friendly game is a consolation honor extended to Zambia by an affable nation that understands our grief in that we won’t participate in the real event: the world cup.

While I appreciate the zeal exhibited towards this friendly, it leaves me with questions unanswered: why didn’t we place the same seriousness into the build-up—where we instead struggled with Sudan and Lesotho—so that we could play Brazil in the real game: at the world cup?
We let the bee-honey leak between our fingers, and now we are at each other’s throats over a replica.
This friendly was initiated by Brazil, funded by Brazil (one million dollars-US), and—believe me—determined by Brazil. I want the real thing. This time we lost. Let’s focus on the next. with fervor, us Zambia.

  4. I think Chintu Kampamba was dreaming, failing to beat Lesotho and you think you can win over Brazil, what a joke. If Zambia beat Brazil I will go to heaven on foot.

  5. yayaya nice coments comrades, ok am zambian but brazil nipatali, lets just be pround that we are playing aganist a great nation, 4get vo wina.

  6. I wish the boys best of luck though i know that beating Brazil will be like Zimbabwe destroying USA in war. We could have have done better with the likes of Nathan Sinkala, Sunzu and Kalaba been in the squad. Sinkala is the pillar in Zambian squad. Waiting patiently for tuesday.
